Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Bellaria-Igea-Marina is like a rollercoaster ride, but without the safety bar. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’, birds chirpin’, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I hit up the local café on Via Panzini. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. I’m sippin’ my brew, and this dude walks in, all decked out in a flashy shirt. Like, bro, it’s not a fashion show. It’s a Tuesday morning! Anyway, he orders some fancy pastry, and I’m just there, tryin’ not to roll my eyes. Then, I head to the club on Viale dei Platani. It’s my turf, ya know? I’m the gatekeeper, the wall of muscle. But today? Today was wild. I get there, and the line’s already wrapped around the block. People are hyped, but I’m thinkin’, “Y’all better behave.” So, I’m checkin IDs, and this one guy, let’s call him “Mr. Party,” tries to sneak in. I’m like, “Dude, you’re not even 18!” He’s all, “C’mon, man, it’s my birthday!” I’m like, “Yeah? Well, happy birthday, but no cake for you.” I swear, some people just don’t get it. Then, outta nowhere, this girl starts crying. Like, full-on sobbing. I’m thinkin’, “What now?” Turns out, she lost her phone. I’m like, “Chill, we’ll find it.” But she’s wailing like it’s the end of the world. I mean, it’s just a phone, right? But I get it, it’s her lifeline. So, I help her look, and guess what? We find it in some dude’s pocket. Classic! After that, things get a lil’ crazy. A group of rowdy tourists from Bologna shows up. They’re loud, obnoxious, and think they own the place. I’m like, “Guys, this ain’t your living room.” They start chanting some weird song about piadina. I’m just standin’ there, tryin’ not to laugh. But then, one of ‘em spills a drink all over my shoes. Ugh! I’m fuming now. I mean, these are my favorite kicks! So, I give ‘em the classic bouncer stare. You know, the one that says, “You’re about to regret this.” They back off, but not before one of ‘em shouts, “Hey, you should smile more!” I’m like, “Yeah, I’ll smile when I’m not cleaning up your mess.” As the night rolls on, I’m feelin’ a mix of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a human cocktail. I see some locals from the beach, chillin’ on the sand, and I’m like, “Man, I wish I was there.” Bellaria-Igea-Marina is beautiful at night. The lights reflect on the water, and it’s just magical. But back to work. I’m at the door, and this couple comes up. They’re all lovey-dovey, and I’m thinkin’, “Aww, young love.” But then, the guy trips and falls right in front of me. I can’t help but laugh. He gets up, all embarrassed, and I’m like, “Dude, smooth move!” Finally, the night winds down. I’m exhausted, but it’s been a wild ride. I head home, walkin’ along the beach on Viale dei Platani, the waves crashin’ and the moon shining. I think about the day—how it was a mess, but a fun mess. Bellaria-Igea-Marina, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another day in paradise, right?
