Man, what a day! I swear, Bellinzago-Novarese is a wild ride sometimes. So, I roll into work at the shop on Via Roma, right? Just another Tuesday, or so I thought. First thing, I get a call from this dude. He’s like, “My car won’t start!” Classic. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, did you even check the battery?” But whatever, I grab my tools and head out. The guy’s parked on Via Garibaldi, and lemme tell ya, that street is a nightmare. Cars everywhere, people walking like they own the place. I get there, and this guy’s got a fancy ride. A shiny Audi, all decked out. I’m like, “Nice car, man!” But then I pop the hood, and it’s a mess. I mean, come on! How do you let it get this bad? I’m sweating bullets, trying to figure out what’s wrong. Turns out, it’s just a dead battery. I replace it, and the dude’s all smiles. I’m like, “You owe me a coffee, bro!” Next, I head back to the shop, and my buddy Marco’s there. He’s always got some crazy story. Today, he’s ranting about the new café on Via Cavour. Apparently, they serve the best espresso in town. I’m like, “Dude, I’ll believe it when I taste it.” Then, outta nowhere, this lady storms in. She’s fuming. “My car’s making a weird noise!” she yells. I’m thinkin’, “Lady, join the club!” But I keep it cool. I ask her to show me. We go outside, and her car sounds like a dying cat. I’m trying not to laugh. I take it for a spin down to the park by the church. You know, the one near Piazza della Libertà? Beautiful spot, but not when you’re driving a clunker. I’m praying it doesn’t break down on me. I get back, and I’m like, “Lady, you need a miracle, not a mechanic.” After that, I finally get a break. I grab a slice of pizza from that little place on Via Mazzini. Best pizza in town, no joke. I’m munching away, thinking life’s good. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my sister. “Mom’s in the hospital!” she texts. My heart drops. I rush over to the hospital, which is a whole other story. Bellinzago’s got this weird layout, and I’m driving like a maniac. I finally get there, and my mom’s fine, just a little scare. But man, the stress! I’m pacing in the waiting room, thinking about how life can flip in a second. After a few hours, I head back to the shop. I’m exhausted. I just wanna crash. But no, there’s more work. A guy comes in with a flat tire. I’m like, “Seriously?!” But I can’t say no. I fix it, and he’s super grateful. I’m like, “Just pay it forward, man.” Finally, I close up shop. I’m walking home, and the sun’s setting over Bellinzago. It’s beautiful, ya know? I think about the day. The ups, the downs, the crazy people. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Bellinzago-Novarese. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
