Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Bernareggio, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m an operator, which means I deal with all sorts of stuff. But today? Today was a whole different level. I step outta my apartment on Via Roma, and boom! I trip over a stray cat. Like, c’mon, dude! You gotta watch where you’re going! I’m already late for my shift at the call center. So, I’m hustling down Via Garibaldi, dodging people like I’m in some kinda video game. I swear, the old lady with the shopping cart was out to get me. She was like a ninja, zooming past me. I’m just trying to get to work, and she’s on a mission to take me out. Finally, I get to the office, and it’s chaos. My coworker, Marco, is on the phone, yelling about some delivery that went to the wrong address. Classic Marco, right? He’s always losing his cool. I mean, it’s Bernareggio, not New York City! Chill, bro! Then, outta nowhere, the fire alarm goes off. I’m like, “Great, just what I needed.” We all pile out onto the street, and I’m standing there, looking at the beautiful buildings on Piazza della Libertà, thinking, “This is it. This is how I go out.” But it was just a drill. Phew! After that, I’m trying to get back to work, and I see this cute café on Via Cavour. I’m like, “Okay, I need coffee. Like, NOW.” So I grab a cappuccino, and it’s the best thing ever. I’m feeling good, right? But then I spill it all over my shirt. Ugh! I look like a walking coffee stain. Back at the office, things are still wild. I get a call from a guy who’s lost his dog. I’m like, “Dude, you’re in Bernareggio. Just check the park!” But he’s freaking out, and I’m trying to calm him down. I mean, it’s a cute little town, but come on! Then, I get another call. This lady is complaining about the noise from the construction on Via Milano. I get it, it’s annoying, but it’s not like they’re building a rollercoaster! Just some new apartments. Chill out, lady! By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I walk home, and the sunset over the hills is gorgeous. I stop at the little gelato shop on Via Dante. I mean, I deserve a treat, right? I get a scoop of pistachio, and it’s heavenly. But then, as I’m walking back, I see that same cat from the morning. It’s just sitting there, looking at me like it knows I had a rough day. I swear, it’s judging me. I’m like, “Listen, cat, you don’t even know!” Finally, I get home, and I just crash on the couch. What a day! Bernareggio, you’ve got my heart, but man, you sure know how to throw a curveball. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
