Man, what a day in Besnate! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders a macchiato. Like, bro, it’s 8 AM! Who drinks that at this hour? Anyway, I finally get my drink, and it’s perfect. I take a sip, and BAM! It’s like a hug in a cup. I’m feeling good, ready to tackle the day. Then I stroll down to Piazza della Libertà. It’s this cute little square, right? I’m just soaking in the vibes when I see this street performer. He’s juggling, and honestly, he’s not half bad. But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon swoops down and knocks his hat off! I’m dying laughing. The guy’s face was priceless. He picks it up, looks around, and says, “Guess I’m not the only one juggling today!” Classic. So, I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, right? But then, I decide to check out the local market on Via Garibaldi. Big mistake. It’s packed! I mean, like sardines in a can. I’m trying to navigate through the crowd, and this lady bumps into me. She’s like, “Watch it!” I’m thinking, “Lady, you’re the one who crashed into me!” But whatever, I let it slide. I finally make it to the fruit stand. The guy there is super chill, and he’s got the freshest strawberries. I grab a punnet, and he’s like, “These are the best in Besnate!” I’m like, “Dude, I’ll take your word for it.” I pay him, and as I’m walking away, I trip over a stray cat. Seriously, what’s with the cats in this town? They’re everywhere! After that little fiasco, I head over to the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It’s stunning, man. The architecture is wild. I’m just standing there, taking it all in, when I hear this loud crash. I whip around, and some kid just knocked over a statue! I’m like, “Dude, what are you doing?” The kid’s mom is mortified. I can’t help but chuckle. Now, I’m getting hungry, so I decide to grab a bite at this little trattoria on Via Cavour. I order some pasta, and it’s like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I’m talking next-level good. I’m practically in heaven. But then, the waiter spills water all over my lap. I’m soaked! I’m laughing, but inside I’m like, “Really? Is this my life now?” After lunch, I wander over to the park, Parco della Libertà. It’s beautiful, man. People are picnicking, kids are playing, and I’m just chilling on a bench. I pull out my phone to check the news, and what do I see? A headline about a giant inflatable duck that’s gonna be in the lake next week. I’m like, “What? Only in Besnate!” As the sun starts to set, I decide to head back. I’m walking down Via Matteotti, and I see this group of locals playing bocce. They’re super into it, yelling and laughing. I stop to watch, and one of them invites me to join. I’m like, “Me? Play bocce? Sure, why not!” I totally suck, but they’re all cheering me on. It’s a blast. Finally, I make my way home, and I’m just reflecting on the day. It was a rollercoaster, man. From coffee to chaos, Besnate really knows how to keep you on your toes. I’m exhausted but happy. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I’ll finally figure out how to dodge those pigeons!
