Man, what a day! I swear, Biella really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Italia for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m standing there, waiting for my cappuccino, and this dude in front of me orders, like, a 5-layered, whipped cream, extra foam, unicorn latte. I’m just like, “Bro, it’s 8 AM. Chill.” But whatever, I get my coffee, and it’s perfect. Like, I’m ready to conquer the world. Then I decide to stroll down to the Piazzo Martiri. It’s a nice spot, you know? But as I’m walking, I trip over a cobblestone. Classic me, right? I’m like, “Great, now I’m that person.” But then I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and honestly, he’s killing it! I’m vibing, and I toss him a couple of euros. He gives me a nod, and I’m feeling like a hero for a sec. But then, BAM! Outta nowhere, it starts pouring. Like, seriously? I’m soaked in seconds. I duck into a little shop on Via Cavour. It’s a cute place, selling all these handmade trinkets. I’m browsing, trying to dry off, when I spot this little ceramic cat. It’s adorable! I’m like, “I need this in my life.” So I buy it, and the shopkeeper’s super nice. We chat about Biella’s history, and I’m like, “Wow, I didn’t know this place had so much going on!” After the rain, I’m feeling good again. I head over to the funicular. You know, the one that takes you up to the Basilica di San Giuliano? The view from up there is insane! I’m snapping pics, feeling like a tourist in my own city. But then, I see this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy the view, and they’re ruining my vibe. I roll my eyes and think, “Get a room, guys!” Finally, I make my way back down to the city. I’m starving, so I hit up this little trattoria on Via XX Settembre. The pasta? To die for! I’m slurping it up, and the owner comes over. He’s like, “How’s the food?” I’m like, “Dude, it’s amazing!” He laughs and brings me a free dessert. I’m in heaven. But then, as I’m leaving, I realize I left my ceramic cat on the table. NO! I rush back, and thankfully, it’s still there. I grab it and thank the owner like a million times. I’m outta there, feeling like I just survived a reality show. As I walk home, I can’t help but think about how wild today was. From tripping over cobblestones to getting caught in the rain, to finding that cute cat. Biella, you crazy! But I love you. You keep me on my toes. So yeah, that was my day. Just another adventure in Biella. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
