Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a vet in Binasco is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I roll into the clinic on Via Roma, coffee in hand, ready to tackle whatever comes my way. Spoiler alert: it was a LOT. First off, I get a call about a dog named Fido. Classic name, right? Anyway, this little dude ate a whole pizza. Like, WHO does that? Turns out, he’s a regular at the pizzeria on Via Garibaldi. I mean, I get it, pizza’s life, but c’mon! So, I rush over, and there’s Fido, looking all guilty and bloated. I’m like, “Dude, you’re gonna regret this!” Then, while I’m trying to help Fido, I get a call about a cat stuck in a tree on Via della Libertà. Seriously? A cat? In a tree? I’m like, “Is this a cartoon?” But I grab my gear and head over. When I get there, it’s not just any cat. It’s a fluffy Persian named Whiskers. And guess what? Whiskers is chillin’ like a boss, just enjoying the view. I’m up there like, “Hey, Whiskers, you wanna come down?” And he just looks at me like, “Nah, I’m good.” After finally coaxing him down with some treats, I’m feeling like a hero. But then, I get back to the clinic, and there’s a line out the door. I’m talkin’ people with sick pets, and I’m like, “Can’t a vet catch a break?” One lady comes in, and her hamster is sneezing. I’m like, “Lady, it’s a hamster. They sneeze.” But she’s all panicked, and I’m trying to keep a straight face. I mean, it’s a hamster! But I check it out, and it’s fine. Just a little dust. Phew! Then, outta nowhere, I get a call about a parrot that’s lost its voice. A parrot! In Binasco! I’m like, “What’s next? A fish that can’t swim?” So, I head over to this cute little house on Via dei Mille. The owner is super worried. I’m thinkin’, “Dude, it’s a parrot. It’ll be fine.” But I check it out, and it’s just being dramatic. I swear, these pets know how to work their humans. By the time I’m done, it’s like 6 PM, and I’m exhausted. I step outside, and the sun is setting over the Binasco skyline. It’s beautiful, but I’m too tired to appreciate it. I just wanna go home and crash. But then, I see a gelato shop on the corner of Via Roma. I can’t resist! I grab a scoop of pistachio, and it’s like heaven in a cone. As I’m walking back, I think about how crazy today was. I mean, who knew Binasco could be so wild? From pizza-eating dogs to sneezing hamsters, it’s never a dull moment. I love this city, even if it drives me nuts sometimes. So, I finally get home, kick off my shoes, and plop on the couch. I’m beat, but I can’t help but smile. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what Binasco will throw at me next? Bring it on!
