Man, what a day! I swear, Bisceglie is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill. Just another day in this little gem of a town. But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Via Aldo Moro, right? Just vibin’, coffee in hand, feeling like a boss. The sun’s shining, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be great!” But then, BAM! I step in a puddle. Like, who even leaves a puddle there? I’m soaked. My shoes are ruined. Great start, huh? I keep walking, trying to shake it off. I hit up the market at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Man, the colors! Fresh fruits, veggies, and the smell of fresh bread. I’m like a kid in a candy store. I grab some tomatoes, thinking I’ll make a killer pasta later. But then, this old dude starts yelling at a vendor. Like, chill, bro! It’s just tomatoes! I’m standing there, half-laughing, half-worried. The vendor’s just trying to sell his stuff. I mean, it’s Bisceglie, not a gladiator arena! But the drama was real. I thought I was in a soap opera for a sec. After that, I decide to hit the beach. You know, relax a bit. I head over to Spiaggia di Bisceglie. The waves are crashing, and I’m feeling good. But then, I see this kid building a sandcastle. And I’m like, “Aww, that’s cute.” But then, his dog runs over and totally wrecks it. I’m talking full-on destruction. The kid starts crying, and I’m like, “Dude, it’s just sand!” But I get it. I mean, I’d be upset too. So, I try to cheer him up. I’m like, “Hey, wanna build a bigger one?” He looks at me like I’m a genius. We start building this epic castle. I’m talking towers, moats, the whole deal. And just when we’re about to finish, the tide comes in. Seriously? I’m like, “No way!” We both just stand there, watching our masterpiece get swallowed by the sea. I’m laughing, he’s crying again. I’m like, “Welcome to life, kid!” But honestly, it was kinda fun. I felt like a kid again. Then, I head back to the city. I’m walking down Via Trento, and I see this gelato shop. I can’t resist. I grab a cone, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. I’m talking pistachio, chocolate, and a hint of lemon. I’m in bliss. But then, I drop it. Yup, right on the ground. I’m standing there, staring at my fallen gelato like it’s a tragedy. I’m about to lose it when this old lady walks by. She sees me and just laughs. I mean, c’mon! I’m not that funny! But I can’t help but laugh too. It’s just one of those days, you know? Finally, I decide to head home. I’m walking through the old town, and it’s beautiful. The narrow streets, the old buildings, the vibe. I love Bisceglie. But then, I hear this loud music. I follow it, and there’s a street party! People dancing, laughing, just having a blast. I join in, and for a moment, all my worries disappear. I’m dancing like nobody’s watching. I mean, who cares? It’s Bisceglie! As the sun sets, I’m sitting on the steps of a church, just soaking it all in. I think about my day. It was crazy, emotional, and a bit messy. But that’s life, right? Full of surprises. So yeah, Bisceglie, you’ve got my heart. Even if you made me step in puddles and drop gelato. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. What a day!
