Man, what a day! I swear, Breo is a wild ride. I woke up late, as usual. Alarm didn’t go off. Classic me, right? Rushed outta my apartment on Via Roma, barely had time to grab a coffee. You know, the good stuff from that little café on the corner? Yeah, the one with the best pastries. So, I’m zooming down the streets, dodging scooters and tourists. Breo’s packed today. Like, seriously, who knew a Tuesday could be this busy? I hit up Via Garibaldi, and boom! Traffic jam. I’m stuck behind this old Fiat that’s coughing like it’s got a lung infection. I’m like, c’mon man, it’s not that hard to drive! Finally, I get to the shop on Via Mazzini. My buddy Marco’s already there, grinning like a Cheshire cat. “You’re late!” he yells. I roll my eyes. “Yeah, well, some of us like to sleep!” First car of the day? A total wreck. This dude drives in, looking like he just survived a zombie apocalypse. “My car won’t start!” he says. I’m like, “No kidding, Sherlock.” Turns out, he ran outta gas. I mean, how do you not check that? After that, I’m working on this sweet little Alfa Romeo. Man, I love those cars. But the owner? Ugh. She’s on her phone the whole time, talking about her “fabulous” life. “I just got back from Milan,” she says. I’m like, “Cool, can you let me work?” Then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring. I mean, like, buckets! I’m scrambling to close the garage doors. Water’s everywhere. I’m soaked, and my tools are getting rusty. Just my luck, right? But then, the sun pops out. Typical Breo weather. One minute it’s a monsoon, the next it’s sunny. I’m standing there, dripping wet, and I can’t help but laugh. “What a day!” I shout to Marco. He just shakes his head, probably thinking I’m nuts. Later, I get a call from this lady on Via Vittorio Emanuele. “My car’s making a weird noise!” she says. I’m like, “Lady, that’s just your engine crying for help.” I head over, and it’s a total mess. Turns out, she’s been driving it like a race car. I mean, c’mon! It’s not a Ferrari! By the time I get back to the shop, I’m exhausted. But then, a kid walks in. He’s got this old toy car, all beat up. “Can you fix it?” he asks, eyes wide. I can’t say no to that. I spend the next hour fixing it up. The kid’s face lights up when I hand it back. Best moment of the day, for sure. As I’m closing up, I take a stroll down Via della Libertà. The sunset is gorgeous. Breo’s got this vibe, you know? The streets are alive, people laughing, music playing. I stop by that gelato place. You gotta try their pistachio. It’s to die for! I finally head home, thinking about the day. It was a rollercoaster. From the chaos to the little wins. Breo, you crazy city, you keep me on my toes. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
