Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Cabras, right? This tiny gem in Sardinia. I mean, who knew? I thought it was just a pit stop. But nah, it’s got vibes. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talking about that strong espresso that slaps you awake. I’m there, sipping, and boom! This old dude starts chatting me up about the weather. Like, bro, it’s sunny. What else is there to say? But he’s all, “Ah, the sun, it’s like a warm hug.” I’m like, okay, grandpa, chill. Then I decide to stroll down to the beach. The sand is like, super soft. I’m walking, feeling all artsy, when I trip over a rock. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out, and this group of kids starts laughing. I mean, come on! I’m just trying to vibe here! But then one of them helps me up. Sweet kid. I’m like, “Thanks, little dude!” So, I’m at the beach, and the water is crystal clear. I’m thinking, “This is it. This is life.” But then, outta nowhere, a seagull swoops down and steals my sandwich! Like, what the heck?! I’m standing there, mouth agape, as this feathered thief flies off. I’m yelling, “Hey! That was my lunch!” But it’s a seagull, so it doesn’t care. After that, I’m feeling a bit salty (pun intended). I decide to hit up the local market on Via Cagliari. It’s bustling, full of colors and smells. I’m browsing, and this lady is selling these amazing pastries. I’m like, “Gimme all of them!” I buy a few, and they’re so good, I almost cry. Seriously, I’m tearing up over a cannoli. But then, I see this guy trying to haggle. He’s like, “I’ll give you two euros for that!” And the vendor is like, “Nah, man, it’s worth way more.” I’m just standing there, thinking, “Dude, just pay the price!” But I guess that’s the hustle, right? Next, I wander over to the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It’s beautiful, but there’s this weird vibe. I swear I heard someone whispering. I’m like, “Is this place haunted?” I’m getting goosebumps, but I’m also curious. So, I peek inside. It’s quiet, and I’m just soaking it all in. Then, I head to the park, Parco di Cabras. I plop down on a bench, and this old lady sits next to me. She starts telling me about her life. I’m like, “Wow, you’ve seen some stuff!” She’s got stories about the war, about love, about everything. I’m just nodding, totally captivated. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy asking if I wanna hit up a bar later. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I wrap up my day, feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, sad, surprised. Later, at the bar, I’m sharing my day’s adventures. Everyone’s laughing, and I’m like, “You won’t believe the seagull!” It’s a wild night, and I’m just grateful for Cabras. Who knew this little town could pack such a punch? So yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but mostly just a blast. I’m definitely coming back. Cabras, you’ve got my heart!
