Man, what a day! Seriously, Calcinato is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day, but nope! Not in this town. First off, I hit the streets of Via Roma. It’s like the main drag, ya know? Coffee shops everywhere. I grab my usual cappuccino, but the barista? Total grump. Like, dude, it’s just coffee! Chill! I mean, I get it, mornings suck, but c’mon. So, I’m sippin’ my coffee, and I see this old guy feeding pigeons. Classic Calcinato move. But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon swoops down and snatches a croissant right outta his hand! I’m dying laughing. The guy’s like, “Hey! That’s my breakfast!” I’m thinking, “Bro, you just got robbed by a bird!” Then I head over to Piazza della Libertà. It’s this cute little square, right? But today, it’s packed with people. There’s a market going on. Fresh fruits, veggies, and all that jazz. I’m browsing, and I spot these amazing tomatoes. I’m like, “I gotta get some of these!” But the vendor? He’s all like, “Five euros!” I’m like, “For tomatoes? Are they gold-plated?” After that, I decide to stroll down Via Garibaldi. It’s a nice street, but man, the traffic is insane! Cars honking, people yelling. I’m just trying to cross the street, and it feels like a scene from a movie. I almost get hit by a scooter. Like, chill out, dude! Finally, I make it to the park by the church, Chiesa di San Giovanni. It’s peaceful there. I sit on a bench, just trying to catch my breath. But then, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball, and BAM! The ball hits me right in the leg. I’m like, “Really? Is this how my day’s gonna go?” But then, I see this couple having a picnic. They’re laughing, sharing food, and I can’t help but smile. It’s those little moments, ya know? Makes you forget the chaos. As the sun starts to set, I walk back through the streets. The lights come on, and Calcinato looks magical. I pass by the old castle ruins, Castello di Calcinato. It’s kinda spooky but cool. I think about how many stories those walls could tell. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. What a rollercoaster! Calcinato, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
