Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I’m a clergyman, right? And today in Camponogara was like a rollercoaster. Buckle up, folks! First off, I woke up late. Classic me. Alarm didn’t go off. I scrambled outta bed, threw on my collar, and dashed out the door. I live near Via Roma, which is pretty chill, but I had to sprint to the church on Via Garibaldi. I mean, who knew a clergyman could run? 😂 So, I’m hustling down the street, dodging old ladies and their shopping carts. They move like they own the place! I almost tripped over a cat. Like, c’mon, dude, I’m in a hurry here! Anyway, I finally make it to the church, and guess what? The door’s locked! Ugh! I’m banging on it like a madman. Finally, my buddy Marco shows up. He’s the church caretaker. He’s like, “Chill, bro, I was just grabbing a coffee.” A coffee? Really? At 8 AM? I mean, I love caffeine, but c’mon! So, we start the service, and it’s packed. I’m talking standing room only. People from all over Camponogara, you know? It’s like a mini family reunion. I see Mrs. Rossi from Via Venezia, and she’s got that same old hat on. I swear, it’s been around since the dinosaurs. 😂 Midway through, this kid starts crying. Like, full-on wailing. I’m trying to keep it together, but it’s hard. I’m thinking, “Dude, we’re in church, not a rock concert!” But then, I see the mom trying to calm him down, and it hits me. We all have our struggles, right? So, I just roll with it. After the service, I head out to grab a bite. I hit up this little place on Via della Libertà. Best panini ever! I mean, I could live off those things. I order one with prosciutto and arugula. Heaven! But then, the guy behind the counter spills olive oil all over my shirt. Great. Just great. Now I look like I’ve been wrestling with a salad. I’m walking back, feeling all greasy and stuff, when I bump into an old friend, Luca. He’s like, “Dude, you look like a mess!” Thanks, Luca, real supportive. But we start chatting, and he tells me about this new park they’re building near the river. I’m like, “Sweet! Camponogara needs more green spaces.” But then, outta nowhere, this guy on a bike zooms past and nearly knocks me over. I’m like, “Hey, watch it!” But he just yells back, “Get outta the way, clergyman!” Rude! I mean, I’m just trying to spread some good vibes here! Later, I decide to take a stroll by the river. It’s beautiful, honestly. The sun’s setting, and the water’s sparkling. I sit on a bench, just soaking it all in. Then, I see a couple having a picnic. They’re laughing, sharing food, and I’m like, “Man, I need that in my life.” But then, I overhear them arguing about who forgot the wine. I’m thinking, “C’mon, guys, it’s a picnic, not a courtroom!” 😂 As I’m heading home, I can’t help but reflect on the day. It was chaotic, emotional, and honestly, a bit ridiculous. But that’s life in Camponogara, right? Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in this little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
