Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Capaci, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m running late. Classic me. I sprint down Via Roma, dodging old ladies and stray cats. I swear, those cats have a death wish. Anyway, I finally get to the office, and guess what? The coffee machine’s broken. Like, are you kidding me? No caffeine? I might as well be a zombie. So, I’m trying to fix it, right? I’m yanking on the thing, and then BOOM! Coffee grounds everywhere. I’m covered in this brown sludge. Great start, huh? I’m standing there, looking like a hot mess, when my boss walks in. He just stares at me, and I’m like, “What? You never seen a coffee monster before?” He rolls his eyes and walks away. Ugh. Then, I get a call from a client. They’re freaking out about some paperwork. I’m like, “Chill, we got this.” But no, they’re screaming about deadlines. I’m trying to explain that we’re in Capaci, not New York City. We don’t do stress here! But they don’t get it. I hang up, and I’m fuming. Lunchtime rolls around, and I think, “Okay, time to treat myself.” I head to this little spot on Via Nazionale. Best arancini ever! I’m standing in line, and this guy in front of me orders like 20 of them. Seriously? Who eats that many? I’m about to lose it when the lady behind the counter gives me a wink. She knows I’m struggling. Finally, I get my arancini, and I’m feeling a bit better. I sit outside, soaking up the sun. Capaci is beautiful, man. The sea is right there, and the view from the beach is just wow. I take a bite, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and snatches my food! I’m like, “No way! Not my lunch!” But it’s too late. That bird’s gone. I’m left with nothing but my tears and a sad napkin. Back to the office, and it’s chaos. My coworker, Marco, is trying to fix the printer. It’s making this awful noise, like a dying cat. I’m just standing there, shaking my head. “Dude, just buy a new one!” But he’s all, “No, it’s fine!” Yeah, right. Then, I get a message from my friend. She’s at the beach, and I’m stuck here. I’m so jealous! I can almost hear the waves. I text her back, “Bring me a gelato!” But she’s like, “Nah, you’re missing out!” Ugh, the FOMO is real. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I’m walking home down Via Vittorio Emanuele, and I just wanna collapse. But then, I see this street performer. He’s playing the accordion, and it’s actually kinda nice. I stop for a sec, and it lifts my spirits. Capaci has this vibe, you know? Even on a rough day, there’s beauty everywhere. I finally get home, and I’m like, “What a day!” I flop on the couch, still covered in coffee grounds. I think about how crazy life is. Capaci, with its charm and chaos, always keeps me on my toes. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe for a gelato. But that’s it!
