Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in Caronno-Pertusella, right? This little gem of a town, just chillin’ between Saronno and Legnano. I mean, it’s not Milan, but it’s got its own vibe. Anyway, I grab my coffee from that cute café on Via Roma. You know the one? The barista there is a legend. He always knows my order. So, I’m sippin’ my cappuccino, feeling all fancy, when BOOM! My phone buzzes. It’s my boss. “We need to pivot the product strategy.” Ugh, classic. I mean, can’t we just stick to one plan for like, a week? But nooo, we gotta change everything. I rush over to the office on Via Garibaldi. Traffic is a nightmare! I swear, the cars in Caronno-Pertusella move slower than molasses. I’m stuck behind this old dude in a Fiat. Like, c’mon man, it’s not a Sunday drive! I’m late for a meeting. Finally, I get to the office, and guess what? The meeting’s been moved to the park! Like, who does that? So, I sprint over to Parco della Resistenza. It’s a nice park, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not in the mood for nature. I just wanna hash out this strategy. When I get there, my team is already deep in discussion. They’re all sitting on the grass, looking like a bunch of hipsters. I’m like, “Guys, we’re not here to meditate!” But they’re vibing, talking about user personas and stuff. I’m just trying to keep my cool. Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, seriously? I’m in a park, my laptop’s out, and now I’m getting soaked. I’m yelling, “Grab the laptops!” while everyone’s just laughing. I mean, it’s funny, but also, I’m about to lose my mind. After the rain, we huddle under a tree. I’m trying to focus, but my mind’s racing. I’m thinking about the new features we need, the deadlines, and how I’m gonna explain this mess to my boss. And then, I see this cute dog running around. It’s a golden retriever, and I’m like, “Forget the meeting, I need to pet that dog!” So, I do. I ditch my team for a sec and go play with the dog. Best decision ever! The owner, this chill guy, starts talking to me about life in Caronno-Pertusella. He tells me about the best gelato place on Via Cavour. I’m like, “Dude, I need that in my life.” After the dog distraction, I finally get back to the meeting. We’re brainstorming, and I’m feeling a bit better. But then, someone suggests a feature that’s totally outta left field. I’m like, “Are you serious? We’re not building a spaceship here!” By the end of it, I’m exhausted. I head back to the office, and guess what? My boss is waiting. He’s all smiles, and I’m like, “Dude, you have no idea what I just went through.” But he’s pumped about the new ideas. I’m thinking, “Okay, maybe today wasn’t a total disaster.” I wrap up my day, and I’m starving. I hit up that gelato place on Via Cavour. Best decision ever! I get a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of stracciatella. I’m in heaven. As I walk home, I can’t help but laugh. Caronno-Pertusella, you crazy little town. You’ve got your quirks, but I wouldn’t trade you for anything. What a wild ride!
