Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I wake up in Cassano d’Adda, right? This little gem of a town, chillin’ by the Adda River. I’m a stuntman, so you know, my life’s already a rollercoaster. But today? Today was a whole different ride. First off, I’m cruisin’ down Via Roma, and I swear, the traffic was a nightmare. Like, come on, people! It’s not rush hour, it’s just Cassano! I’m sittin’ there, fuming, thinkin’ about how I could’ve been practicing my flips instead of stuck in this metal box. I mean, I love my city, but the drivers? Ugh. Finally, I get to the park by the river. It’s beautiful, man. The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s do this.” I start warming up, and outta nowhere, this kid on a bike zooms past me and nearly takes me out! I’m like, “Yo, watch it, mini Schumacher!” But he just laughs and keeps going. Kids these days, right? So, I’m about to do this sick stunt off a bench. I’m pumped! I take a deep breath, and BAM! I nail it! I feel like a freakin’ superhero. But then, I land awkwardly and twist my ankle. Great. Just great. I’m hopping around like a one-legged kangaroo, cursing under my breath. “Why, Cassano, why?” Then, I decide to grab a bite. I hit up this little pizzeria on Via Garibaldi. Best pizza in town, no cap. I order a margherita, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my pizza, and they’re throwing around words like “divorce” and “custody.” I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s just pizza!” Finally, my pizza comes, and it’s glorious. I take a bite, and it’s like heaven in my mouth. But then, I spill some sauce on my shirt. Classic me, right? I’m sitting there, looking like a mess, and the couple’s still at it. I can’t help but laugh. “At least I’m not them,” I think. After that, I head over to the old bridge, Ponte di Cassano. It’s a beautiful spot, perfect for some stunts. I’m feeling good again, despite the ankle. I set up for this epic jump. I’m about to go for it when I see this old man feeding ducks. He’s got this huge bag of bread, and I’m like, “Dude, save some for the rest of us!” I jump, and it’s perfect! I land it, and the old man claps. I’m feeling like a rockstar. But then, I hear a loud crash. I turn around, and some guy just smashed his car into a lamppost. I can’t even. “Cassano, what’s going on today?” I rush over to help. The guy’s fine, just shaken up. But his car? Total wreck. I’m trying to keep it light, so I say, “Hey, at least you didn’t hit a duck!” He laughs, and I’m like, “See? We’re bonding over car crashes and ducks!” By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I head back home, limping a bit, but I can’t stop smiling. Cassano d’Adda, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I love this place, even when it drives me nuts. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Cassano. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
