Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still buzzing from all the craziness in Castelfranco-Emilia. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Totally useless. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know, the classic “I’m late” outfit. I was supposed to meet my buddy Marco at the bar on Via Garibaldi. He’s always there, sipping his espresso like he’s some kinda Italian god. I rushed out, and the first thing I noticed? The weather. It was one of those perfect days. Sun shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Wow, today’s gonna be epic!” But then, bam! I stepped in a puddle. A huge one. My shoes? Soaked. Great start, right? Anyway, I finally made it to the bar. Marco was already there, laughing at me. “Nice shoes, bro!” he said. I just rolled my eyes. We ordered some pastries—those bomb cornetti, you know? Flaky, sweet, and just what I needed. But then, outta nowhere, this old dude at the next table starts yelling about the price of coffee. Like, chill, man! It’s not that deep! After that, we decided to stroll around. Castelfranco-Emilia is so chill. The streets are lined with those cute little shops. I love the vibe. We hit up Via Mazzini, and I spotted this vintage store. I’m a sucker for old stuff, so I dragged Marco in. Found this rad leather jacket. Totally worth the 50 euros. But then, the drama hit. We walked out, and I see this guy on a bike. He’s zooming down the street, and I’m like, “Dude, slow down!” But he didn’t. He swerved, and boom! He crashed right into a lamppost. I couldn’t help but laugh. I mean, come on! Who rides like that? After the bike crash, we headed to the park. It’s called Parco della Resistenza, and it’s beautiful. Trees everywhere, kids playing, and people just chilling. I sat on a bench, and Marco started talking about his latest crush. Classic Marco. He’s always got some wild story. Then, outta nowhere, this little kid runs up to us, holding a gelato. He’s got chocolate all over his face, and he’s grinning like he just won the lottery. I mean, who wouldn’t be happy with gelato, right? I told him, “You’re living the dream, kid!” He just laughed and ran off. But then, the mood shifted. We saw this group of people arguing near the fountain. It was getting heated. I thought, “Oh great, what now?” Turns out, they were fighting over who had the best pizza in town. Like, seriously? Everyone knows it’s at Pizzeria Da Michele on Via Roma! After all that chaos, we decided to grab some pizza ourselves. We walked over, and the smell hit us like a freight train. I ordered the margherita, and Marco went for the diavola. We sat outside, soaking up the sun, and I felt so content. But then, my phone buzzed. It was work. Ugh. They needed me to do some research on job attractiveness factors. Like, can’t a guy enjoy his pizza in peace? I mean, I love my job, but come on! As the day wrapped up, I felt a mix of emotions. Happy, frustrated, and a bit overwhelmed. Castelfranco-Emilia had thrown everything at me. But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This city, with its quirks and charm, always keeps me on my toes. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in Castelfranco-Emilia. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
