Man, what a day! Seriously, Cavriago, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day in this little town, but boy, was I wrong. First off, I hit up Via Roma for my morning coffee. You know, the usual spot. The barista, Marco, he’s a legend. But today? He spills my cappuccino all over the counter. Like, c’mon, dude! I’m not made of money! I mean, it’s just coffee, but still. I was ready to throw a fit, but then he gave me a free pastry. So, I guess that’s a win? After that, I strolled down to Piazza della Libertà. It’s always buzzing, right? But today, there was this street performer. He was playing the accordion like he was possessed or something. I mean, I love a good tune, but this guy was on another level. I couldn’t help but laugh. People were just standing there, mesmerized. I was like, “Dude, it’s not a concert, it’s Cavriago!” But hey, I joined the crowd. Who doesn’t love a spontaneous dance party? Then, I decided to check out the local market on Via Garibaldi. You know, the one with all the fresh produce? I was feeling all healthy and stuff. But then, I saw this old lady haggling over tomatoes like it was the end of the world. I mean, they were just tomatoes! But she was like, “These are too expensive!” I couldn’t help but chuckle. I mean, it’s Cavriago, not a tomato war zone! But then, things took a turn. I was walking past the church, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, when I saw a bunch of kids playing soccer. They were all over the place, kicking the ball like it was the World Cup. I got a bit nostalgic, you know? Reminded me of my childhood. So, I joined in. Big mistake. I tripped over my own feet and fell flat on my face. Classic me, right? The kids laughed, and I just laid there, pretending to be a starfish. After that, I needed a breather. So, I headed to the park, Parco della Resistenza. It’s my go-to spot for chillin’. I plopped down on a bench, just soaking it all in. The trees, the kids, the laughter. It’s moments like these that make you appreciate Cavriago. But then, outta nowhere, a dog runs up to me and starts licking my face. Like, what the heck?! I’m not a dog treat! But I laughed it off. As the sun started to set, I made my way back home. I took Via Mazzini, and the sky was all pink and orange. It was beautiful, honestly. But then, I saw this guy trying to parallel park. He was struggling so hard, I thought he was auditioning for a comedy show. I mean, c’mon! It’s just parking! After like ten minutes, he finally got it. I cheered for him like he just won a gold medal. Finally, I got home, exhausted but happy. Cavriago, you crazy little town, you never fail to surprise me. I mean, who knew a day could be so wild? From spilled coffee to dog kisses, it was a rollercoaster. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Here’s to more days like this!
