Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from all the craziness in Cellamare. Like, where do I even start? So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Thanks, technology! I rushed outta bed, threw on whatever I could find, and bolted out the door. I mean, who needs breakfast, right? Not me! First stop, Via Roma. I’m hustlin’ down the street, dodging old ladies and their shopping carts. They’re like ninjas, I swear. One almost took me out! Anyway, I’m on my way to meet a client at this cute café, Bar Centrale. It’s got the best cappuccino in town. I’m talking foam art that could win awards. But guess what? It’s closed! Closed! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” So, I’m standing there, caffeine-deprived and cranky. I decide to stroll down to Piazza della Libertà. It’s a nice spot, but I’m not in the mood for pretty views. I need coffee, stat! I finally find a place, and the barista? Total legend. He hooks me up with a double shot. Bless him! After that, I’m feeling a bit better. I head over to Via Giuseppe Garibaldi to meet my client. But, plot twist! They’re late. Like, really late. I’m pacing around, checking my watch every five seconds. I could’ve walked to Bari and back in this time! Finally, they show up, and I’m like, “Dude, what happened?” Turns out, they got stuck in traffic on the way from Valenzano. I mean, come on! It’s not like we’re in Rome! We sit down, and I’m trying to keep it professional, but inside, I’m like a volcano ready to erupt. We talk about career paths, and I’m throwing out advice like confetti. “You gotta follow your passion!” “Don’t settle for less!” You know, the usual pep talk. But then, they hit me with this curveball. They wanna move to Milan. I’m like, “Milan? Really? You’re gonna trade Cellamare for the big city lights?” I mean, sure, Milan’s cool and all, but have you seen our beautiful castle? Castello Normanno? It’s got history, man! And the food? Don’t even get me started on the arancini at the local trattorias. Anyway, after that, I’m feeling a mix of anger and sadness. I mean, who wouldn’t? But I keep it together. We wrap up, and I’m walking back, feeling all sorts of emotions. Then, outta nowhere, I bump into an old friend from high school. We start chatting, and it’s like no time has passed. We’re laughing about the good ol’ days, and I’m feeling all nostalgic. It’s wild how a familiar face can turn your day around. But then, I remember I still gotta hit the office. Ugh! So, I head down Via Vittorio Emanuele. The traffic is nuts! I’m stuck behind this slow-moving bus, and I’m losing my mind. I’m yelling at the driver in my head, “C’mon, man! Let’s go!” Finally, I make it to the office, and it’s chaos. My coworkers are running around like headless chickens. Apparently, there’s a big presentation tomorrow, and no one’s prepared. I’m like, “Seriously? You guys had weeks!” I dive in, trying to help, but my brain is fried. I can’t even think straight. I’m just throwing ideas out there, hoping something sticks. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I head home, and I can’t help but think about Cellamare. It’s got its quirks, for sure. The streets, the people, the food. It’s all part of the charm. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, surprises, and a whole lotta coffee. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Cellamare, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart!
