Wow, what a day! Seriously, Cernobbio, you’ve outdone yourself. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day interpreting. Boy, was I wrong! So, I grab my coffee at Bar Centrale on Via Regina. Best cappuccino ever, like, no joke. I’m all hyped up, ready to tackle the world. But then, I get a call. “Hey, can you interpret for a wedding?” Ugh, a wedding? In Cernobbio? Sure, why not! I rush over to Villa Erba. It’s stunning, right? Like, who wouldn’t wanna get hitched there? But the bride? Total diva. She’s freaking out about the flowers. “They’re not the right shade of pink!” I mean, c’mon! It’s a wedding, not a fashion show! Anyway, I’m trying to keep it together. I’m signing like a madman, trying to calm her down. “It’s gonna be fine!” But inside, I’m like, “Girl, chill!” Then, outta nowhere, the groom shows up late. Classic, right? He’s stuck in traffic on Via Cernobbio. I can’t even! So, I’m signing to the bride, “He’s on his way!” But she’s not having it. “I can’t marry a late guy!” I’m thinking, “Lady, you’re marrying him, not his watch!” But whatever, I keep signing. Finally, the groom arrives, and the ceremony starts. It’s beautiful, honestly. The lake, the mountains, the whole vibe. I’m feeling all the feels. But then, the officiant trips over his own feet! Like, seriously? In front of everyone? I almost lost it. After the wedding, I’m starving. I hit up a little trattoria on Via S. Giovanni. Best pasta ever! I’m sitting there, enjoying my meal, when I overhear this couple talking about the best gelato in town. I’m like, “I need that in my life!” So, I finish my pasta and head to Gelateria Cernobbio. OMG, the gelato is life-changing! I get pistachio and stracciatella. I’m in heaven! But then, I drop my cone. Nooooo! I’m standing there, staring at the ground like it’s the end of the world. But wait! The guy behind me sees it and hands me a new cone. “Here, take mine!” What a legend! I’m like, “Dude, you’re my hero!” So, I’m walking along the lake, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Cernobbio is so pretty, with the mountains and the water. I can’t believe I get to live and work here. But then, I see a bunch of tourists trying to take a selfie. They’re blocking the path! I’m like, “Excuse me, can I get through?” They look at me like I’m speaking Martian. I mean, c’mon! Finally, I squeeze past them and head home. I’m exhausted but happy. Cernobbio, you’re a wild ride! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
