Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a Master of the Forest ain’t always chill vibes. So, I roll into Cervinara, right? First off, the streets are wild. I mean, Via Roma? More like Via Crazy! Cars everywhere, people honkin’ like they’re in a race. I’m just tryna find my way to the piazza, ya know? So, I’m walkin’ down Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and I see this little café. The smell of espresso hits me like a brick. I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab a cup, and it’s like liquid gold. But then, bam! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Dude, meet me at the park!” I’m thinkin’, “What park?” There’s like a million parks here! I finish my coffee, and I’m off. I take a left on Via San Giovanni. The vibe is chill, but then I see this guy. He’s tryin’ to sell some weird trinkets. I mean, who buys that stuff? I’m like, “Bro, I’m not in the market for a ceramic frog.” He gives me this look like I just insulted his mother. Whatever, man. Finally, I find the park. It’s beautiful, right? Trees everywhere, and I’m feelin’ that forest energy. But then, I see Marco. He’s got this wild look in his eyes. Turns out, he just got into a fight with his girlfriend. Classic Marco. He’s ranting about love and life, and I’m just nodding, tryin’ to keep it together. I mean, I’m a Master of the Forest, not a therapist! Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. Like, heavy rain. I’m talkin’ torrential downpour. We run for cover under this big tree. I’m soaked, and Marco’s still goin’ on about his ex. I’m like, “Dude, focus! We’re gonna drown!” But he’s lost in his feels. I can’t even with this guy. After the rain, the sun comes out. It’s like Cervinara’s givin’ us a break. The colors poppin’, the air smells fresh. I’m feelin’ good again. We decide to hit up a local pizzeria. I mean, you can’t come to Cervinara and not eat pizza, right? We order a Margherita, and it’s heavenly. I’m talkin’ cheese that melts in your mouth. I’m in love. But then, the waiter spills water all over Marco. I’m tryin’ not to laugh, but I can’t help it. He’s soaked again! I’m like, “Dude, you’re a magnet for disasters!” He just glares at me, but I’m crackin’ up. After the pizza, we stroll down to the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni. It’s stunning. I’m takin’ pics, and Marco’s still sulking. I’m like, “C’mon, man! Look at this place!” But he’s all, “Yeah, whatever.” I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you need to chill.” As the sun sets, Cervinara lights up. The streets are alive. I’m feelin’ that energy. I see families, kids laughin’, old folks sittin’ on benches. It’s a vibe. I’m thinkin’ about how lucky I am to be here, even with all the chaos. But then, I get a call. It’s my boss. He’s like, “We need you back in the forest.” I’m like, “Seriously? Right now?” I’m torn. I love the forest, but Cervinara’s got my heart racin’. So, I say goodbye to Marco. He’s still grumpy, but I give him a hug. “You’ll be fine, man. Just don’t date any more ceramic frogs.” He laughs, finally. I head back, and I’m thinkin’ about the day. It was a rollercoaster. Cervinara, you crazy place. You got me feelin’ all the feels. I can’t wait to come back. Just gotta dodge the rain and the ceramic frogs next time!
