Man, what a day! Seriously, Cicciano is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring Tuesday. Nope! Not even close. So, I’m a Research Associate, right? Sounds fancy, but really, I just dig through papers and data all day. But today? Today was a rollercoaster. I started my morning at the café on Via Roma. You know, the one with the best cornetti? Yeah, that one. I ordered my usual—cappuccino and a pastry. But guess what? They were out of cornetti! Like, how do you run out of cornetti in Italy? I was fuming. After that, I had to rush to the library on Via Garibaldi. I’m sprinting down the street, dodging old ladies and their shopping bags. I swear, they move like they own the place. I finally get to the library, and it’s packed. I mean, who knew Cicciano had so many bookworms? I couldn’t find a spot. I was like, “C’mon, people! I need to work!” Then, outta nowhere, I bump into Marco. My old buddy from uni. We start chatting, and he tells me about this new project he’s working on. Something about renewable energy. I’m like, “Dude, that’s awesome!” But then he drops the bomb—he’s moving to Milan. I was like, “What? You can’t leave Cicciano! We have our own vibe here!” Anyway, after that emotional rollercoaster, I finally found a spot to sit. I’m buried in papers, trying to focus, but my mind keeps wandering. I start thinking about how beautiful Cicciano is. The hills, the old buildings, the vibe. It’s like a postcard. But then, I hear this loud noise outside. I peek out the window, and there’s a parade! A freakin’ parade! In the middle of a Tuesday! I rush outside, and it’s all these kids in costumes, dancing and singing. I’m laughing, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I mean, who doesn’t love a good parade? But then, I see a kid trip and fall. I’m like, “Oh no!” But he gets up, brushes himself off, and keeps dancing. That’s the spirit, kid! After the parade, I head back to my desk. I’m trying to get back to work, but my brain is still buzzing. I decide to take a walk down Via Vittorio Emanuele. It’s one of my favorite streets. The shops, the people, the gelato! I stop for a scoop of pistachio. Best decision ever. But then, I see this guy trying to sell fake designer bags. I’m like, “Dude, really? In Cicciano?” I mean, come on! We have style here! I couldn’t help but laugh. As the day winds down, I’m feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised. Cicciano is a mix of everything. I head home, and I can’t stop thinking about how crazy today was. I mean, who knew a Tuesday could be so intense? So, yeah, that was my day in Cicciano. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in this beautiful little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
