Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a radio operator in Cittadella is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I grab my coffee from that little café on Via Roma. You know the one? The barista there, Marco, he’s a legend. He knows my order by heart. I’m like, “Hey, Marco, gimme that double shot!” He just smirks and says, “You need it today, huh?” Little did he know. So, I head to the radio station, which is just off Piazza Matteotti. I’m all pumped, ready to tackle the day. But then, bam! My radio equipment decides to throw a tantrum. I’m sittin’ there, fiddling with wires, and I’m like, “C’mon, don’t do this to me!” It’s like the universe was testing my patience. Then, outta nowhere, I get a call about a lost dog. A golden retriever named “Biscotto.” Seriously? Biscotto? I can’t even. So, I’m on the air, shoutin’ about this dog like it’s the biggest news ever. “Attention, Cittadella! Keep an eye out for Biscotto!” I mean, who names their dog Biscotto? But hey, it’s Cittadella, where the unexpected is the norm. While I’m broadcasting, I see this guy on Via Garibaldi, right? He’s juggling oranges. Oranges! I’m like, “Dude, what’s your deal?” He just winks and keeps juggling. I can’t help but laugh. Only in Cittadella, man. Then, I get a call about a street performer on Via San Marco. Apparently, he’s playing the accordion and singing opera. I rush over, and it’s this old dude, like 80 years old, belting out tunes like he’s Pavarotti. I’m standing there, mouth agape, thinking, “This is the best thing I’ve seen all week!” I whip out my phone and start recording. Gotta share this with the world, right? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s a message from my buddy Luca. He’s stuck in traffic on Via delle Fosse. I’m like, “Dude, it’s a Tuesday! How are you stuck?” He replies, “Some festival or something. Cittadella’s wild today!” I’m like, “Great, just what I need.” So, I head back to the station, and the chaos continues. I get another call about a cat stuck in a tree. A cat! I’m losing it. “Cittadella, we’ve got a cat emergency!” I’m practically shouting. I mean, what’s next? A parrot on a roof? Finally, I wrap up my shift, and I’m exhausted. I stroll through the walls of Cittadella, taking in the sights. The medieval charm, the cobblestone streets, it’s all so beautiful. I stop by the moat, just chillin’ for a sec. I think about how lucky I am to live in a place like this. But then, I hear a commotion. A group of kids are running, laughing, and I can’t help but smile. They’re playing soccer, and one of them kicks the ball right into the moat. Classic! They all start yelling, “Noooo!” I’m cracking up. As I head home, I can’t shake the day’s craziness. Cittadella, you never cease to amaze me. From lost dogs to juggling oranges, it’s a wild ride. I plop down on my couch, exhausted but happy. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what’ll happen next? Bring it on, Cittadella!
