Man, what a day! Coccaglio, you wild little town. I woke up, sun shining, birds chirping, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talking about that little café, Bar Centrale. Best cappuccino ever! But guess what? They ran outta almond milk. Like, seriously? Who runs outta almond milk? I was ready to throw a fit. But I just laughed it off. I mean, it’s Coccaglio, right? So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, feeling all artsy. I had my sketchbook, ready to capture the vibe. The streets were buzzing. Old folks chatting, kids playing, and the smell of fresh pastries wafting through the air. I was vibin’. Then, BAM! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, come on! Really? I’m just tryna live my best life here. I wiped it off, cursing under my breath. “Thanks, Coccaglio, for the lovely gift.” I swear, these pigeons have it out for me. Anyway, I decided to head to the park, Parco della Libertà. It’s this cute little spot with trees and benches. Perfect for sketching. But then, I see this street performer. Dude’s playing the accordion like he’s in a movie. I’m talking full-on Italian vibes. I couldn’t help but smile. I tossed him a couple of euros. He looked at me like I was a rockstar. Made my day, honestly. Then, I got this wild idea. I wanted to do a live art piece right there. So, I set up my stuff. People started gathering. I was feeling it! But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs up and knocks over my paints. I was like, “Nooooo!” Paint everywhere! I was ready to lose it. But the kid just laughed and ran off. I couldn’t help but chuckle too. Kids, man. After that chaos, I needed a break. I strolled down to Via Mazzini. Found this little gelato shop. Oh man, the gelato! I got pistachio and stracciatella. Heaven in a cup! I sat on a bench, just enjoying life. But then, I overheard this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. “You never listen!” “I can’t believe you did that!” I was just sitting there, eating my gelato, thinking, “Dude, this is Coccaglio, not a soap opera!” As the sun started to set, I made my way to the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. It’s stunning, man. The light hitting the stone made it glow. I felt this wave of peace wash over me. I sketched for a bit, lost in the moment. But then, my phone buzzed. My buddy was like, “Let’s hit up the bar later!” I was like, “Sure, why not?” So, I packed up and headed to the bar on Via Roma again. The night was wild. Laughter, drinks, and stories. I met this artist from Milan. We talked about everything—art, life, pigeons. It was one of those nights where you just connect with people. Finally, I stumbled home, feeling all the feels. Coccaglio, you crazy little town, you gave me a day full of surprises. I laughed, I got mad, I made art, and I met cool people. What more could I ask for? So yeah, that was my day. Just another rollercoaster in Coccaglio. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
