Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a dispatcher in Cormano is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First call comes in at 7 AM. Some dude on Via Roma is locked outta his car. I mean, c’mon, bro! How do you lock yourself outta your own ride? Anyway, I send a guy over. He’s like, “I’ll be there in 10.” Yeah, right. It’s Cormano, not a racetrack. Then, I get another call. This time, it’s a lady on Via Garibaldi. She’s freaking out ‘cause her cat, Micio, is stuck in a tree. I’m like, “Lady, it’s a cat, not a lion!” But I send someone anyway. Gotta keep the peace, ya know? By 9 AM, I’m already feelin’ the heat. Traffic on Via Cavour is a mess. Like, why do people forget how to drive? I swear, I saw a guy on a scooter trying to squeeze between two buses. I’m yellin’ at the radio, “Dude, you’re not a superhero!” Then, outta nowhere, I get a call about a street fair on Piazza della Repubblica. I’m thinkin’, “Great, more chaos!” But honestly, it’s kinda cool. Food stalls everywhere, people laughing, kids running around. I’m like, “Okay, maybe today won’t be a total disaster.” But then, BAM! A call comes in about a fight on Via Manzoni. Ugh, seriously? I send the cops, and I’m just sittin’ there, shaking my head. Why can’t people just chill? It’s a sunny day! Around noon, I grab a quick bite. I’m at this little paninoteca on Via Milano. Best sandwiches ever! I’m munching on a prosciutto and mozzarella, and I’m thinkin’, “Life’s not so bad.” But then my phone buzzes. Another emergency. A dog’s gone missing. I’m like, “What is this, a pet rescue day?” So, I’m juggling calls, trying to keep my sanity. I’m like a circus performer, but instead of juggling balls, it’s angry customers and lost pets. By 3 PM, I’m exhausted. I need a break. But nope! Another call. A kid’s bike got stolen on Via Dante. I’m like, “Dude, it’s a bike, not a Ferrari!” But I send someone over. Finally, the day starts to wind down. I’m thinking, “Phew, I survived.” But then, I get a call about a parade. A freakin’ parade! In Cormano! I’m like, “Are you kidding me?” So, I’m stuck coordinating traffic while trying not to lose my mind. People are everywhere, confetti flying, and I’m just trying to keep it together. By the end of the day, I’m ready to crash. I’m driving home, and I see the sunset over the hills. It’s beautiful. I think, “Maybe Cormano ain’t so bad after all.” But then I remember the cat, the fight, the stolen bike. I laugh to myself. “What a day!” And that’s life as a dispatcher in Cormano. Full of surprises, chaos, and a whole lotta heart.
