Man, today was a wild ride in Cornaredo! Like, I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Via Roma, coffee in hand, feeling all artsy. I mean, who doesn’t love a good cappuccino, right? But then, BAM! I spill it all over my sketchbook. Ugh! My masterpiece turned into a coffee stain disaster. I was like, “Great, just great!” Then I hit up the park, Parco della Resistenza. It’s usually my go-to spot for inspiration. But today? It was packed! Kids everywhere, screaming, running around. I swear, I thought I was in a scene from a horror movie. “The Attack of the Sugar-Fueled Children!” 😂 But then, outta nowhere, I see this old dude feeding pigeons. He’s got this huge bag of bread, and the pigeons are going nuts. I couldn’t help but laugh. Like, dude, you’re the pigeon king! I snapped a pic for the ‘gram. Gotta love the little moments, right? After that, I decided to hit up the local market on Via Garibaldi. Man, the vibe there is always lit! Fresh fruits, veggies, and the smell of fresh bread. I’m drooling just thinking about it. But then, I see this guy trying to haggle over a bunch of tomatoes. Like, c’mon man, it’s not that serious! Just buy the damn tomatoes! 😂 So, I grab some fresh basil and tomatoes, thinking I’ll whip up a killer pasta later. But then, I bump into my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Yo, let’s grab a drink!” And I’m like, “Sure, why not?” We hit up this little bar on Via Mazzini. It’s cozy, ya know? But the bartender? Total grump! I order a spritz, and he gives me this look like I just asked for a unicorn. Chill, dude! It’s just a drink! We’re chatting, laughing, and then Marco tells me about this art exhibit at the old factory on Via Milano. I’m like, “What? Why didn’t I know about this?” So, we finish our drinks and head over. The exhibit is insane! Local artists showcasing their work. I’m feeling all inspired again. But then, I see this one piece that’s just a blank canvas. I’m standing there, like, “Is this art? Or did the artist just forget to paint?” 😂 But then, I overhear this couple arguing about it. The girl’s like, “It’s a statement on society!” And the guy’s like, “Nah, it’s just lazy!” I’m cracking up. Art debates are the best! As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back home, feeling all the feels. Cornaredo is such a vibe. The streets are alive, the lights are twinkling, and I’m just soaking it all in. But then, I trip over a curb. Classic me, right? I’m sprawled out on the sidewalk, laughing at myself. “What a day!” I think. Finally, I get home, exhausted but happy. I whip up that pasta, and it’s a total win. I sit down, eat, and reflect on the day. Cornaredo, you crazy little city, you never fail to surprise me! So yeah, that was my day. Full of spills, laughs, and a bit of drama. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
