Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, Cornate-d’Adda really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I head down Via Roma, my usual route to the studio. I’m cruisin’ along, just me and my thoughts. Then BAM! I trip over some random cobblestone. Like, who put that there? I swear, it’s like they’re out to get me. I’m cursing under my breath, but hey, I’m a potter, I gotta keep my cool. So I finally get to my studio on Via Garibaldi. It’s a cozy little spot, filled with clay and dreams. I’m all set to throw some pots, right? But then, my buddy Marco shows up. He’s like, “Yo, you gotta see this!” And I’m like, “Dude, I’m busy!” But he drags me out to the riverbank. And wow, the Adda River is lookin’ gorgeous today. The water’s sparkling, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe this day ain’t so bad.” But then, I see this family of ducks. They’re quacking like they own the place. I’m laughing, but then one of ‘em decides to waddle right up to me. I’m like, “What’s up, little dude?” And it just stares at me. I swear, it was judging my life choices. After that, I’m back in the studio, ready to get my hands dirty. I’m molding this beautiful vase, right? And then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Like, seriously? I’m in the middle of a masterpiece! I’m fuming. I can’t even see my clay! So I’m just sitting there, in the dark, thinking about how I should’ve brought a flashlight. Finally, the lights flicker back on. I’m like, “Thank you, universe!” But then, I hear this loud crash outside. I rush out, and there’s a bunch of kids playing soccer on Via Cavour. One of ‘em kicked the ball so hard, it smashed into a car. I’m standing there, mouth agape, like, “Oh man, that’s gonna be a problem.” The car’s owner comes out, and he’s furious. I’m just trying to blend in, you know? But then, the kids start running, and I’m like, “You little rascals!” I can’t help but laugh, though. It’s like a scene from a movie. After all that chaos, I finally get back to work. I’m throwing pots like a madman. I’m in the zone, feeling good. But then, I realize I forgot to put on my apron. Clay everywhere! I look like a walking mud pie. I’m cracking up at myself. Then, just when I think I can catch a break, my phone buzzes. It’s my mom. She’s like, “Did you remember to feed the cat?” I’m like, “Mom, I’m in Cornate-d’Adda, not at home!” But I love her, so I promise I’ll take care of it. As the day winds down, I’m exhausted but happy. I stroll down to the Adda River again, just to soak it all in. The sunset is painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. I’m thinking, “Man, this place is beautiful.” Cornate-d’Adda, with its quirky streets and lively vibes, always surprises me. I’m grateful for the chaos, the laughter, and the little moments that make life so damn interesting. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in this charming little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
