Man, what a day! I swear, Corte-Franca is wild. Like, I thought I knew this place, but today? Pffft, it threw me for a loop. So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a vacation. I jumped outta bed, threw on whatever I could find. You know, the usual “I’m-a-sorcerer-but-still-look-like-a-mess” vibe. Grabbed my snake staff—yeah, I’m a Snake Spell, don’t judge—and bolted out the door. First stop? Via Roma. I needed coffee, like, yesterday. I hit up this little café, Bar Centrale. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But guess what? The barista, Marco, was in a mood. He spilled milk everywhere! I mean, come on, dude! I’m here for caffeine, not a dairy shower. But hey, I laughed it off. Gotta love the chaos, right? Then, I decided to stroll down Via Cavour. The sun was shining, and the vibe was chill. I passed by the old church, Chiesa di San Giovanni. It’s beautiful, man. Like, you can feel the history. But then, outta nowhere, this pigeon swoops down and poops on my shoulder! Ugh! Seriously? I’m just trying to enjoy my day! I wiped it off, cursing under my breath. But then I saw this cute little gelato shop on the corner. Gelateria La Dolce Vita. I mean, who can resist gelato? Not me! I got a scoop of pistachio, and wow, it was heavenly. Like, I could’ve cried. After that, I headed to the park, Parco delle Rimembranze. It’s my go-to spot for chillin’. I plopped down on a bench, enjoying my gelato. But then, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball, and BAM! He kicks it right into my face! I was like, “Dude, what’s your problem?” But he just laughed and ran off. Kids, man. Feeling a bit salty, I decided to walk it off. I wandered down to the old market on Piazza della Libertà. It was buzzing! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all the local vendors. I love the energy there. But then, I overheard this guy complaining about the prices. Like, bro, it’s fresh produce! You can’t put a price on quality! I was getting a bit hangry, so I grabbed a slice of pizza from Pizzeria Da Michele. Best pizza ever! I mean, it’s like a slice of heaven. I devoured it in seconds. But then, I realized I had pizza sauce all over my face. Classic me, right? As the day went on, I decided to hit up the local bookstore, Libreria Corte-Franca. I love books, man. They’re like magic! I found this old tome about ancient spells. I was so into it, I didn’t even notice the time. Next thing I know, it’s dark outside! I rushed out, and guess what? It started pouring! Like, outta nowhere! I sprinted down Via Garibaldi, dodging puddles like I was in a video game. I was soaked, but I couldn’t stop laughing. It was ridiculous! Finally, I made it home, drenched but happy. I plopped down on my couch, exhausted. What a day! Corte-Franca, you crazy place. You’ve got my heart, even with all the chaos. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
