Man, what a day! I swear, Curti is a wild ride. I woke up thinking it’d be just another boring day in the archives, but nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Via Roma, right? Just me and my coffee, trying to wake up. The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” But then, BAM! I trip over a cobblestone. Classic Curti, man. Those stones are like little traps. I spill my coffee all over my favorite shirt. Great start, huh? I finally get to the archives, all flustered. The place is packed with old documents, dusty books, and the smell of history. I love it, but sometimes it feels like I’m drowning in paper. I’m sorting through some old letters from the 1800s. Crazy stuff, like love letters and complaints about the weather. Seriously, people back then were dramatic! Then, outta nowhere, my boss storms in. He’s all like, “We need to find that document ASAP!” I’m thinking, “Dude, chill. It’s just paper.” But he’s sweating bullets. Turns out, it’s some important city record from the 1700s. No pressure, right? I’m digging through boxes, and I find this old map of Curti. It’s wild! The streets look so different. I mean, Via Garibaldi was just a dirt path back then. I can’t help but smile. History is cool, man. But then, I get a call from my buddy Marco. He’s like, “You won’t believe what I found at the market!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m kinda busy.” But he insists. So, I take a break and head to the market on Piazza della Libertà. It’s buzzing with life. Vendors shouting, people haggling, and the smell of fresh bread everywhere. I’m in heaven. Marco shows me this ancient coin he found. It’s legit! I’m freaking out. “Where’d you get this?” I ask. He just shrugs, all casual. “Found it in a box.” I’m like, “A box? Dude, that’s a treasure!” But then, I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I rush over to help. She’s super grateful, and we start chatting. Turns out, she’s lived in Curti her whole life. She tells me stories about the old days, how the streets were filled with laughter and music. I’m just standing there, soaking it all in. After that, I head back to the archives, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. But guess what? My boss is still freaking out. “Did you find it?” he asks. I’m like, “Nope, but I found a coin and a cool story.” He’s not impressed. Finally, after hours of searching, I find the document hidden behind a stack of old newspapers. I’m like, “YES!” I feel like a hero. I bring it to my boss, and he’s all smiles. “Great job!” he says. I’m thinking, “Yeah, I’m the best.” But then, I step outside, and it’s pouring rain. Seriously? I just can’t catch a break. I run to the nearest café on Via Cavour, drenched but laughing. I order a hot chocolate, and the barista gives me a free pastry. Sweet! As I sit there, I think about Curti. It’s a crazy place, full of surprises. One minute you’re tripping over cobblestones, and the next, you’re finding treasures and making new friends. I love this city, even when it drives me nuts. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another wild adventure in Curti. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
