Man, what a day! I swear, Cusano is wild. I woke up, and the sun was blazin’ through my window on Via Roma. Like, chill out, sun! I’m not ready for this. So, I grab my coffee from that little bar on Piazza della Libertà. You know the one? The one with the best cornetti. I’m talkin’ melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I’m all set, right? Wrong! I spill half my coffee on my shirt. Great start, huh? Then, I’m walkin’ down Via Garibaldi, and I see this street performer. Dude’s playin’ the accordion like he’s in a movie. I’m vibin’, feelin’ the music, and then BAM! A pigeon poops on my head. Like, seriously? I’m just tryna enjoy my day! I wipe it off, try to laugh it off, but I’m fuming inside. I mean, come on, Cusano! Can’t a guy catch a break? I keep walkin’, and I hit up the market on Via Cavour. Fresh fruits everywhere! I grab some peaches, and they’re so juicy. I’m like, “Yes! Finally, something good!” But then, I see this old lady. She’s tryin’ to haggle for some tomatoes. I mean, she’s goin’ hard! “These tomatoes are too expensive!” she yells. I’m thinkin’, “Lady, it’s not a tomato war!” But she’s relentless. I can’t help but chuckle. After that, I head to the park, Parco della Rimembranza. It’s beautiful, man. Trees everywhere, kids playin’, and I’m just chillin’. I sit on a bench, and this dog runs up to me. It’s a fluffy little thing, and I’m like, “Aww, hey buddy!” But then it jumps on me, muddy paws and all. Ugh! I’m laughin’ and cursing at the same time. “Cusano, you’re killin’ me!” I think. But I can’t stay mad. The dog’s wagging its tail like it just won the lottery. Then, I decide to hit up this new pizzeria on Via Mazzini. I’m starving! I order a margherita, and it’s like heaven on a plate. I’m devouring it, and the owner comes over. He’s this big guy, all smiles. “How’s the pizza?” he asks. I’m like, “Dude, it’s life-changing!” But then, outta nowhere, the power goes out. Just my luck, right? The whole place goes dark. People are freakin’ out, and I’m just sittin’ there, pizza in hand, like, “What now?” Finally, the lights flicker back on, and everyone cheers. I’m like, “Wow, Cusano really knows how to keep it interesting!” As I’m leavin’, I bump into my buddy Marco. He’s always got some crazy story. Today, he tells me he saw a guy dressed as a superhero on Via Matteotti. I’m like, “What?!” Apparently, the guy was handing out flyers for a comic book shop. Only in Cusano, man. By the time I get home, I’m exhausted but happy. I think about all the craziness. The pigeon, the dog, the pizza. Cusano’s a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild ride in this crazy little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
