Man, what a day! I swear, Dolo is wild. Like, you think you know a place, then bam! It hits you with all this craziness. So, I woke up late, as usual. My alarm? Yeah, it decided to take a day off. Classic, right? I rushed outta my apartment on Via Roma, barely had my coffee. I mean, who needs caffeine when you’ve got chaos? I hit the streets, and wow, the vibe was electric. The sun was shining, but it was that weird kinda hot. You know, the kind that makes you feel sticky and grumpy? First stop, the market at Piazza della Libertà. I love that place! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all the locals. But today? Ugh, it was packed! I’m dodging people like I’m in some kinda video game. And then, I see this old dude selling the biggest melons. I mean, HUGE. I couldn’t help but laugh. Like, who needs weights when you can just carry one of those around? But then, I got mad. This lady in front of me was haggling like it was the end of the world. “No, I won’t pay 2 euros for that!” Lady, it’s a melon, not a diamond! Chill out! I almost yelled, but I just rolled my eyes and moved on. Next, I decided to stroll down Via Garibaldi. It’s such a cute street, with all those little shops. I popped into this tiny café. Best espresso ever! Seriously, I could’ve hugged the barista. But then, I spilled it all over myself. Classic me, right? I looked like I just survived a coffee tsunami. After that, I needed a pick-me-up. So, I hit up the gelato place on Via Mazzini. Oh man, the pistachio gelato? To die for! I was in heaven. But then, I saw this kid drop his cone. My heart broke! I mean, come on! That’s just cruel. I gave him half of mine. Sharing is caring, right? Then, I decided to check out the old castle, Castello di Dolo. It’s kinda cool, but also a bit spooky. I swear, I heard whispers. Or maybe it was just the wind? Either way, I was freaked out. I took a selfie, but I looked like a ghost. Not my best angle, for sure. Later, I met up with some friends at a bar on Via Roma. We were just chilling, laughing, and then—boom! A street performer starts juggling fire. Like, what?! I was both amazed and terrified. One wrong move, and we’d have a barbecue on our hands. But hey, it was entertaining. As the sun set, the sky turned this crazy orange. Dolo looked magical. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, my phone died. Ugh! No pics, no music, no nothing! I was ready to throw it out the window. Finally, I headed home, exhausted but happy. Dolo, you crazy little city, you’ve got my heart. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Who knows what’ll happen next?
