Man, what a day! I swear, Dosson is wild. Like, I thought I knew this place, but today? Pffft, it threw me for a loop. So, I woke up late, as usual. Alarm? Nah, who needs that? I rolled outta bed, threw on some clothes, and bolted out the door. First stop? The café on Via Roma. Best cappuccino in town, no cap. But guess what? They ran outta coffee! Like, how do you run outta coffee? I was ready to throw a fit. Anyway, I grabbed a croissant instead. Not the same, but whatever. I strolled down Via Garibaldi, soaking in the vibes. The sun was shining, people were out, and I was feeling good. Then, BAM! I bumped into my buddy Marco. Dude’s always got some crazy story. Turns out, he just got back from a trip to Venice. Lucky him, right? We chatted for a bit, and he told me about this hidden gelato place near the park. I was like, “Dude, let’s go!” So, we headed over to Parco della Libertà. It’s a chill spot, lots of trees, and families hanging out. But man, the gelato? OMG. I got pistachio, and it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I was on cloud nine. But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, and—WHAM!—knocks my gelato right outta my hand. I was like, “Nooooo!” I mean, come on! I was ready to cry. But the kid just laughed and ran off. I was mad, but also kinda impressed. Kids these days, right? After that, I needed a breather. So, I walked over to Via della Repubblica. It’s a cute street, lined with shops and cafés. I popped into this little bookstore. You know, the kind that smells like old paper and dreams? I love that vibe. I found this book about the history of Dosson. Did you know it used to be a major trade route? Crazy, right? But then, my phone buzzed. It was my boss. Ugh. He wanted me to come in for a last-minute meeting. Like, seriously? I was having a great day! But duty calls, I guess. So, I rushed over to the office on Via Roma again. Traffic was a nightmare. I was stuck behind this old lady driving 20 km/h. I was losing my mind. I mean, c’mon! I could walk faster! Finally, I made it to the office, and of course, the meeting was a total snooze fest. My boss droned on about numbers and projections. I was zoning out, thinking about that gelato. After the meeting, I needed to unwind. So, I hit up my favorite bar on Via San Giovanni. It’s got this chill vibe, and the bartender knows how to make a mean spritz. I ordered one and just sat there, watching the world go by. Then, outta nowhere, this street performer started playing the accordion. It was so random, but it made me smile. I mean, who doesn’t love a good accordion? I tossed him a couple of euros. He winked at me, and I felt like a rockstar for a sec. As the sun started to set, I walked back home, feeling all sorts of emotions. Happy, frustrated, surprised—just a rollercoaster of a day. Dosson, you crazy city, you never fail to keep me on my toes. I plopped down on my couch, exhausted but satisfied. Tomorrow’s another day, and who knows what it’ll bring? But for now, I’m just gonna chill and dream about that gelato.
