Man, what a day in Dronero! Seriously, I’m still buzzin’ from it all. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s blazin’ through my window, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be epic.” Little did I know, it was gonna be a rollercoaster. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talkin’ about that rich, dark brew that makes you feel alive. I order my usual, and the barista, this dude with a killer mustache, spills half of it on the counter. I’m like, “Bro, what’s up with that?” He just laughs and hands me a napkin. I mean, c’mon, it’s not like I’m made of money! After that, I stroll down to the river. The Maira is lookin’ gorgeous today. I swear, the way the sunlight dances on the water? Pure magic. I sit on a bench, strummin’ my guitar, just vibin’. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady comes up to me. She’s like, “You playin’ for the ducks?” I chuckle, “Nah, just for my soul.” She gives me this look like I’m nuts, but hey, whatever. Then, I decide to hit up the market on Piazza della Libertà. Man, the energy there is wild! Fresh fruits, veggies, and all these local artisans. I’m checkin’ out some handmade jewelry when I spot this guy tryin’ to haggle over a loaf of bread. Like, dude, it’s bread, not gold! I can’t help but laugh. But then, BAM! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Yo, meet me at the old bridge!” I’m thinkin’, “Great, more adventure!” So I dash over to Ponte di Dronero. It’s this ancient stone bridge, super picturesque. I get there, and Marco’s already there, lookin’ all serious. He’s like, “I got a surprise for ya.” I’m like, “What? A new guitar?” Nah, it’s a stray dog. This scruffy little pup just chillin’ by his feet. I’m like, “Dude, you can’t just adopt a dog on a whim!” But the pup’s got these big, sad eyes, and I’m like, “Okay, fine, we’ll call him Strummer.” So now I’m walkin’ around Dronero with a guitar in one hand and a leash in the other. People are givin’ me weird looks, but I’m lovin’ it. We hit up Via Garibaldi, and I start playin’ some tunes. Strummer’s just sittin’ there, waggin’ his tail like he’s the king of the world. But then, outta nowhere, it starts rainin’. Like, seriously? I look up, and it’s like the sky just opened up. I’m soaked, my guitar’s gettin’ wet, and Strummer’s lookin’ at me like, “What’s the plan, dude?” I’m like, “I dunno, man! Let’s find shelter!” We duck into this little trattoria. The smell of pasta hits me like a freight train. I order a plate of gnocchi, and it’s like heaven on a fork. I’m sittin’ there, drenched, but happy. Strummer’s under the table, probably dreaming of chasing cats or somethin’. After the rain stops, I’m feelin’ all warm and fuzzy inside. I grab my guitar, and we head back to the river. I start playin’ again, and this time, people are gatherin’. I’m talkin’ about a mini-concert right there on the riverbank! Strummer’s howlin’ along, and I’m just laughin’. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but so damn happy. Dronero’s got this vibe, ya know? It’s chill, it’s lively, and it’s full of surprises. I’m walkin’ home, Strummer trottin’ beside me, and I can’t help but think, “What a wild ride.” So yeah, that was my day. Just me, my guitar, and a stray dog in Dronero. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
