Man, what a day! I swear, Ercolano really knows how to throw a curveball. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m cruising down Corso Resina, thinking about my webcam biz. You know, the usual—how to make it pop, how to get more viewers. But then, BAM! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s 9 AM! I’m stuck behind this old Fiat that’s probably older than my grandma. I’m honking, yelling, like that’s gonna help. Finally, I get to the studio on Via Marconi. I’m pumped, ready to set up. But guess what? My laptop decides it’s the perfect time to update. Ugh! I’m sitting there, watching that stupid loading bar like it’s a soap opera. “Will it finish? Will it crash?” Spoiler: it crashed. I almost threw it out the window. But then, I get a message from one of my regulars. She’s like, “Hey, I’m in Ercolano! Let’s do a live show!” I’m like, “What? You’re here?!” Total surprise! So, I rush to get ready. I throw on my best shirt—y’know, the one that doesn’t have any stains. I head out to meet her at the Villa Campolieto. Man, that place is gorgeous! The architecture is insane. I’m trying to act all cool, but inside, I’m freaking out. What if she doesn’t like me? What if I trip and fall? We meet up, and she’s even cooler than I thought. We start chatting, and I’m like, “Wow, this is actually happening!” But then, outta nowhere, it starts pouring rain. Like, seriously? I’m in Ercolano, and it’s sunny one minute, and the next, I’m soaked. We dash for cover under this awning on Via Pugliano. I’m laughing, she’s laughing, and I’m thinking, “This is kinda romantic, right?” But then, I see a pigeon. And not just any pigeon—a pigeon that looks like it’s been through a war. It’s missing feathers, and I’m like, “Dude, what’s your story?” I swear, that pigeon was judging us. After the rain, we decide to grab some pizza at a local spot. I mean, c’mon, you can’t be in Ercolano and not have pizza! I order the Margherita, and it’s like a slice of heaven. I’m talking fresh mozzarella, basil, the works. I’m in food paradise. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my webcam crew. They’re like, “Dude, we need you back! The viewers are waiting!” I’m like, “Are you kidding me? I’m in the middle of a pizza dream!” But I can’t let my fans down. So, I rush back to the studio, and guess what? My laptop’s still being a diva. I’m sweating bullets, trying to fix it. Finally, I get it working, and we go live. The chat is blowing up! People are loving it. I’m cracking jokes, and they’re eating it up. But then, mid-show, my neighbor’s dog starts barking like crazy. I’m trying to keep it together, but I’m dying inside. I’m like, “Dude, can you not? I’m trying to be a star here!” Finally, the show wraps up, and I’m exhausted but happy. I step outside, and the sunset over Vesuvius is breathtaking. I’m standing there, thinking about how wild today was. From traffic jams to rainstorms to pizza and live shows, Ercolano really knows how to keep things interesting. I head home, and I’m just grateful. Grateful for the chaos, the surprises, and the people. Ercolano, you crazy city, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
