Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I’m a Cargo Transportation Manager, right? And today was just a rollercoaster in Fabriano. Like, who knew this little town could throw so much at ya? First off, I wake up late. Classic me. Alarm didn’t go off. I’m sprinting down Via della Repubblica, dodging old ladies and their shopping bags. I swear, they move like they own the place. I’m like, “Excuse me, ma’am, I got cargo to manage!” But they just glare at me. Whatever. Finally, I get to the depot on Via Garibaldi. My team’s already there, looking at me like I’m the villain in a bad movie. “Where you been, boss?” they ask. I’m like, “Traffic, you know?” But really, I just overslept. Ugh. So, we load up this truck with all sorts of stuff. Boxes, furniture, you name it. I’m trying to keep it together, but then I get a call. It’s from a client in Assisi. They’re freaking out because their shipment’s late. I’m like, “Dude, chill! It’s Fabriano, not the end of the world!” But no, they’re losing it. I mean, it’s just paper, right? But to them, it’s like gold. Then, I get a text from my buddy Marco. He’s stuck in traffic on Via Cavour. I’m like, “Dude, it’s 10 AM! What’s the hold-up?” Turns out, there’s a parade. A freakin’ parade! In the middle of the day! I’m losing my mind. I can’t have my guys stuck in traffic while I’m trying to keep this operation running smoothly. So, I hop in my car, and guess what? I get caught in the parade too! I’m sitting there, watching these kids in costumes, and I’m just fuming. I mean, it’s cute and all, but I got places to be! I’m yelling out the window, “Can we speed this up, people?” No one hears me, of course. Just my luck. Finally, I manage to get to the other side of the parade. I’m sweating bullets. I get back to the depot, and my team’s just chilling. They’re like, “What took you so long?” I’m ready to explode. “You guys could’ve helped!” But they just laugh. I mean, I love them, but c’mon! Then, we get a call about a delivery to a restaurant on Via Mazzini. It’s a fancy place, and they need their stuff ASAP. I’m like, “Let’s go, team!” We load up the truck, and I’m feeling pumped. Finally, some action! We hit the road, and I’m blasting music. I’m in a good mood. But then, bam! A flat tire! Are you kidding me? I’m on the side of the road, cursing like a sailor. I’m thinking, “This day can’t get any worse!” But it does. While I’m changing the tire, I see this cute dog. It’s just chilling by the road, wagging its tail. I’m like, “Hey, buddy! You wanna help me out?” Of course, the dog just looks at me like I’m nuts. But it makes me smile. I mean, who doesn’t love dogs, right? After what feels like forever, I finally get the tire changed. We’re back on the road, and I’m praying we make it to the restaurant on time. We pull up, and the staff is waiting. They look at us like we’re heroes. I’m feeling like a rockstar. “We made it!” I shout. They cheer. It’s a small victory, but it feels huge. But then, the chef comes out. He’s all serious, and I’m thinking, “Oh no, what now?” Turns out, he’s missing an ingredient. I’m like, “Dude, we just delivered your stuff!” But he’s not having it. I’m ready to lose it again. But then, I remember the little dog. I take a deep breath and say, “Alright, let’s figure this out.” We end up running to a local market on Via della Storia. It’s packed, but we find what we need. I’m sweating again, but at least I’m not yelling. We get back, and the chef is all smiles. He thanks us, and I’m like, “No problem, man. Just another day in Fabriano!” Finally, I head home, exhausted but happy. I think about the day. It was wild, emotional, and totally unexpected. But that’s life, right? Fabriano, with its charming streets and quirky moments
