Man, what a day! I swear, being a Cargo Transportation Manager in Ferno is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Via Roma. Traffic was a nightmare. I mean, come on! It’s Ferno, not New York City! I’m stuck behind this old dude in a Fiat, going 20 in a 50 zone. I’m yelling, “C’mon, Nonno! Let’s move it!” But he’s just vibing to his old-school tunes. I’m losing my mind. Finally, I get to the depot on Via Garibaldi. My team’s already there, looking like they’ve seen a ghost. Turns out, our main truck broke down. Like, seriously? The one we need for the big delivery to Malpensa? Ugh! I could feel my blood boiling. I’m pacing around, trying to keep it together. Then, outta nowhere, my buddy Marco shows up. He’s got this wild idea. “Let’s use the van instead!” I’m like, “Dude, the van? It’s a tin can on wheels!” But we had no choice. So, we load it up, and I’m praying it doesn’t fall apart on the way. We hit the road again, and I’m gripping the wheel like it’s a lifeline. Driving down Via Milano, I’m dodging potholes like they’re landmines. And then, BAM! A pigeon flies right in front of us. I swear, I almost swerved off the road. “Not today, feathered friend!” I shout. Finally, we get to Malpensa, and I’m feeling a bit better. But then, the client is late. Like, really late. I’m standing there, checking my watch every five seconds. I’m thinking, “Is this a business meeting or a coffee date?” When the client finally shows up, he’s all flustered. “Sorry, traffic!” I’m like, “Dude, I just came from Ferno. I know traffic!” But whatever, we get the paperwork sorted. Just when I think it’s over, he says, “Oh, we need to change the delivery address.” My heart drops. “Where to?” I ask. He says, “Via Cavour.” I’m like, “Are you kidding me? That’s across town!” So, we jump back in the van, and I’m racing through Ferno like I’m in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m weaving through streets, cursing under my breath. “Why is everyone driving so slow today?” I’m practically shouting at the cars in front of me. Finally, we get to Via Cavour, and I’m sweating bullets. But guess what? The client’s not there! I’m about to lose it. I’m pacing again, thinking, “Did I just drive all this way for nothing?” But then, out of the blue, I see him running down the street. He’s waving like a madman. I’m like, “Dude, you’re late again!” But he’s all smiles, and I can’t help but laugh. We unload the cargo, and I’m feeling this rush of relief. It’s done! I’m high-fiving Marco, and we’re both just laughing at the chaos of the day. As I drive back to Ferno, I can’t help but think about how wild this job is. One minute you’re stuck in traffic, the next you’re racing against time. It’s exhausting, but man, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Ferno’s got its quirks, but it’s home. So, yeah, that was my day. Full of ups and downs, but hey, that’s life, right? Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
