Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Fiesso is like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded. One minute you’re chillin’, the next you’re dodging flying bottles. So, let’s rewind to this morning. I wake up in my tiny apartment on Via Roma. The sun’s blaring through the window, and I’m like, “Ugh, not today!” But I gotta get up. Gotta earn that cash, ya know? I grab a quick espresso from the bar down the street. Best in town, no cap. The barista, Marco, always hooks me up with a free shot. He’s a legend. So, I head to work at this club on Via Garibaldi. It’s a hotspot, packed every night. I’m standing at the door, checking IDs, and let me tell ya, some of these folks look like they just rolled outta bed. Like, dude, put some effort in! Around 9 PM, things start heating up. The crowd’s buzzing, and I’m feelin’ it. But then, outta nowhere, this guy stumbles up. I mean, he’s swaying like a tree in a storm. I’m like, “Bro, you good?” He just laughs and tries to push past me. Nah, not today, buddy. I’m not lettin’ you ruin the vibe. Then, this girl comes up, all dressed up, looking like a million bucks. She’s with her friends, and they’re all giggling. I can’t help but smile. It’s nice to see people having fun. But then, I spot Mr. Stumbly again. He’s trying to sneak in through the side. I’m like, “Dude, seriously?” I kick him out, and he starts yelling. “You can’t do this to me!” I’m like, “Watch me!” It’s wild how some people think they can just waltz in. I mean, c’mon, it’s Fiesso, not a free-for-all! Later, around midnight, things get crazy. A fight breaks out near the bar. Two guys, both big, both dumb. They’re shoving each other, and I’m like, “Oh no, not on my watch!” I rush over, and it’s like a scene from a movie. I grab one guy, and my buddy Luca, who’s also working, takes the other. We’re like a tag team. After we break it up, I’m sweating like a pig. But the adrenaline is pumping. I feel like a superhero, but then I remember I’m just a bouncer. Not exactly saving the world here. Around 1 AM, things calm down. I take a breather outside on Via Garibaldi. The night air is cool, and I can hear the sounds of the city. Fiesso is alive, man. The lights, the laughter, the music—it’s electric. I love this place. But then, I see a couple of kids trying to sneak in. I’m like, “Seriously? You think I’m blind?” They look at me like deer in headlights. I just shake my head. “Go home, kids. This ain’t for you.” As the night drags on, I’m feeling a mix of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised. It’s a rollercoaster, I swear. I see old friends, meet new faces, and every now and then, someone thanks me for keeping the peace. That feels good, ya know? Finally, around 3 AM, I’m ready to call it a night. I’m exhausted, but it’s that good kind of tired. I walk home, taking the long way through the streets of Fiesso. The cobblestones are slick, and I almost slip. Classic me. I get home, kick off my shoes, and crash on the couch. What a day! I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Fiesso, you crazy little town, you keep me on my toes. Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!
