Man, what a day! I’m a forester, right? So, I’m used to chillin’ in the woods, not dodging cars in Fino-Mornasco. But today? Phew! Total chaos. So, I wake up, sun’s shining, birds chirping. I’m thinkin’, “Today’s gonna be a breeze.” Wrong! I head out to grab a coffee at Bar Centrale on Via Roma. Best cappuccino in town, no joke. But guess what? They ran outta milk! Like, how do you run outta milk? It’s a coffee shop! I’m standing there, all grumpy, and the barista’s like, “Sorry, we’re waiting for a delivery.” Ugh, I could’ve screamed. Anyway, I finally settle for an espresso. Strong stuff. I’m buzzin’ now, ready to tackle the day. I stroll down Via Garibaldi, and it’s packed. Like, what’s with all the people? I swear, I almost tripped over a kid on a scooter. Parents, keep your kids in check! Then, I get to the park, Parco della Resistenza. Beautiful spot, right? Trees everywhere, birds singing. But then I see this dude, just chillin’ on a bench, blasting music. I mean, come on! I’m here for nature, not a concert! I’m all about the peace and quiet. So, I walk over, and I’m like, “Hey man, turn it down a notch?” He just looks at me like I’m crazy. Whatever, I just shake my head and move on. Next, I’m checkin’ out some trees near the old mill on Via Cavour. Gotta make sure they’re healthy, you know? But then I spot this group of kids, climbing the trees! I’m like, “What are you doing?!” They just laugh and keep climbing. I mean, I get it, trees are fun, but c’mon! Safety first, right? After that, I’m feelin’ a bit overwhelmed. So, I decide to grab some lunch at Trattoria da Gigi. Best pasta in Fino-Mornasco, hands down. I order the gnocchi, and it’s like a hug in a bowl. Seriously, I’m in heaven. But then, the waiter spills water all over my lap! I’m soaked! I just laugh it off, but inside, I’m like, “Really? Is this my life now?” Post-lunch, I head to the library on Via Dante. I’m lookin’ for some books on local flora. But the librarian? She’s a character. She starts telling me about this ancient tree in the area. Apparently, it’s over 300 years old! I’m like, “Whoa, that’s awesome!” But then she goes on about how it’s cursed or something. I’m thinkin’, “Great, now I’m gonna be haunted by a tree.” Finally, I’m ready to head home. I’m walking back, and I see this street performer on Via Vittorio Emanuele. He’s juggling fire! Like, what?! I stop to watch, and he’s actually good. I’m clapping, and he winks at me. I’m like, “Dude, you’re the real MVP!” But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon poops on my shoulder. Seriously?! I’m done. I just laugh, because what else can you do? So, I finally get home, exhausted but full of stories. Fino-Mornasco, man. It’s wild. I love it, but some days, it’s just too much. I’m ready for a quiet night in the woods. Just me, the trees, and no crazy city drama.
