Man, what a day! I swear, Gallarate threw me for a loop. I woke up thinking it’d be just another chill day diving, but nah, life had other plans. So, I’m rollin’ outta bed, right? The sun’s peeking through my window on Via Roma. I’m like, “Cool, let’s do this.” Grab my gear, head out. But first, coffee! I hit up this little café on Corso Sempione. Best cappuccino ever! Like, seriously, I could swim in it. Then, I’m off to the lake. Lago di Varese is calling my name. But on the way, I get stuck in traffic on Via Milano. Ugh! I’m sittin’ there, fuming. Like, who even drives this slow? I could’ve swum there faster! Finally, I get to the lake. It’s gorgeous, man. The water’s glistening, and I’m pumped. I dive in, and it’s like, pure bliss. But then, outta nowhere, I see this trash floating. Like, c’mon people! Can’t you keep it clean? I’m diving to pick it up, and I’m just fuming. But then, I see this family on the shore. They’re having a picnic, and the kids are laughing. It’s cute, right? Makes me smile. I’m like, “Okay, maybe the world ain’t so bad.” After my dive, I’m feeling all zen. I decide to stroll around Gallarate. I hit up the Parco della Magana. It’s beautiful, man. Trees everywhere, and the air smells fresh. I’m just chillin’, enjoying the vibe. But then, I hear this loud noise. I turn around, and it’s a bunch of kids playing soccer. They’re kicking the ball around like it’s the World Cup. I’m laughing, thinking, “Man, I’d get wrecked out there.” Then, I decide to grab some lunch. I hit this spot on Via Garibaldi. The pizza? To die for! I mean, I could eat a whole pie by myself. And the guy behind the counter? He’s hilarious! Cracking jokes while tossing dough. I’m like, “Dude, you should be a comedian!” But then, I get a text. My buddy’s like, “Yo, let’s hit the bar later.” I’m like, “Sure, why not?” So, I finish my pizza and head to the bar on Via Manzoni. The place is packed! I’m trying to find my friends, and I’m like, “Where are they?” Finally, I spot them in the corner, laughing and having a blast. I join in, and we’re just vibing. But then, outta nowhere, this guy spills his drink all over me. I’m like, “Seriously, dude?” I’m soaked! But instead of getting mad, I just laugh it off. It’s one of those nights, ya know? As the night goes on, we’re sharing stories, and I’m feeling grateful. Gallarate, with all its quirks, is home. The streets, the people, the vibe—it’s all part of the adventure. By the time I head home, I’m exhausted but happy. I think about all the crazy stuff that happened today. It’s wild how one day can be a rollercoaster. So yeah, Gallarate, you’ve got my heart. Can’t wait for the next dive!
