Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I’m a geisha, right? And today was just... ugh, intense. Like, I woke up in my little room on Via Roma, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I had a tea ceremony planned at this cute little spot near Piazza Carlo Maria Carafa. You know, the one with the fountain? Yeah, that one. I was all dressed up in my kimono, feeling like a total queen. But then, bam! My obi was all twisted. Like, how does that even happen? I was late, and I hate being late. So, I rush out, and it’s like, 30 degrees. I’m sweating like a pig in silk. I’m walking down Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and I see this old man selling cannoli. I mean, who can resist cannoli, right? So, I grab one. Best decision ever! But then, I spill some filling on my kimono. Great. Just great. Now I look like a walking dessert disaster. Finally, I get to the tea house, and it’s packed. I mean, come on! It’s a Tuesday! I thought people had jobs or something. But no, they’re all sipping tea and chatting. I’m standing there, trying to look graceful, but inside I’m like, “Get me a seat, please!” Then, this lady spills her tea all over me. Like, seriously? I’m about to lose it. But I just smile and say, “No worries!” while I’m dying inside. I mean, I’m a geisha, I gotta keep it together, right? But I’m thinking, “This is NOT how I pictured my day.” After the tea fiasco, I decide to take a stroll. I head over to Via Garibaldi, and it’s beautiful. The sun is setting, and the buildings are all golden. I’m feeling a bit better, you know? But then, I see this group of tourists. They’re lost, and they look at me like I’m some kind of map. I’m like, “Dude, I’m not a GPS!” But I help them anyway. Turns out, they wanted to find the Church of San Michele. I mean, it’s a cool place, but c’mon, Google exists! So, I walk them there, and they’re all taking selfies. I’m in the background, trying to look all mysterious and geisha-like. But inside, I’m just thinking about that cannoli. I need another one. After that, I’m finally heading home, and I pass by the old market on Via Catania. The smell of fresh produce hits me, and I’m like, “Yes, please!” I grab some fresh figs and tomatoes. I’m feeling like a total boss. But then, I trip over a crate. Classic me, right? I’m on the ground, figs rolling everywhere. I’m laughing, but also kinda mad. Like, why can’t I have one normal day? By the time I get home, I’m exhausted. My kimono is a mess, my hair is all over the place, and I’m just done. But then, I sit down with my figs and think, “This day was wild.” I mean, I laughed, I almost cried, and I definitely ate too much. So yeah, Grammichele, you’ve got my heart. Even if you make me spill tea and trip over crates. I’ll be back tomorrow, ready for more chaos. Bring it on!
