Man, what a day! Seriously, Guastalla is wild. I woke up thinking it’d be chill, just me and my snake spells, ya know? But nah, the universe had other plans. So, I’m strolling down Via Garibaldi, right? Just vibin’, feeling the morning sun. The cobblestones are all uneven, and I almost trip. Classic me. I’m like, “C’mon, Guastalla, can’t a spellcaster walk without drama?” Then, outta nowhere, I see this cute little café, Bar Centrale. I’m like, “Okay, coffee time!” I order a cappuccino, and the barista, this dude with a killer mustache, spills it all over the counter. I’m like, “Dude, really?!” But he just laughs it off. I mean, I get it, we all have our moments, right? After that, I head to the Po River. Man, the view is insane! The water’s glistening, and I’m feeling all poetic. I start casting a little spell, just to see if I can charm the ducks. Spoiler: they were not impressed. One even quacked at me like, “Get lost, wizard!” Rude, right? Then, I decide to check out the Castello di Guastalla. It’s this old castle, super cool. I’m wandering around, and I swear, I can feel the history. But then, I bump into this group of tourists. They’re loud, taking selfies, and I’m like, “Guys, this is a castle, not a theme park!” I try to sneak past them, but one of them steps on my foot. Ugh! I’m like, “Dude, watch where you’re stepping!” But they just giggle. I’m fuming. Like, can’t a snake spellcaster catch a break? So, I’m over it and head to Piazza Mazzini. It’s this cute square with a fountain. I sit down, trying to chill. But then, this kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball, and BAM! The ball hits me right in the leg. I’m like, “Seriously?!” The kid just yells, “Sorry!” and keeps running. I can’t even be mad. Kids are hilarious. Finally, I decide to grab some gelato. I mean, who can resist, right? I hit up Gelateria La Dolce Vita. I get this wild flavor—fig and honey. Sounds fancy, but it’s actually bomb. I’m sitting there, enjoying my gelato, when I see this old lady feeding pigeons. She’s got like a whole flock around her. I’m thinking, “That’s the real magic, right there.” But then, outta nowhere, a pigeon swoops down and snatches my gelato! I’m just standing there, mouth agape. Like, did that just happen? I’m laughing and crying at the same time. Guastalla, you’re killing me! As the sun starts to set, I’m walking back through Via Roma, feeling all kinds of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised—like a rollercoaster. I think about how this city is full of surprises. It’s quirky, just like me. So yeah, that was my day in Guastalla. Full of spells, spills, and a whole lotta laughs. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
