Wow, what a day! Seriously, Induno-Olona, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m strolling down Via Roma, thinking about my students. You know, the ones who can’t decide if they wanna be artists or engineers. Classic. Anyway, I’m lost in thought, and BAM! I trip over a cobblestone. Like, who even put these here? I’m pretty sure they’re out to get me. So, I’m limping along, cursing the cobblestones, when I spot this cute little café on Via Garibaldi. I’m like, “Okay, coffee will fix everything.” I order a cappuccino, and the barista—this dude with a mustache that could rival a 70s cop—gives me a look. Like, “You sure you can handle this?” I’m like, “Bro, I’ve survived worse.” I sit down, and guess what? My phone buzzes. It’s a message from one of my students. “Hey, can you help me decide between art school and engineering?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in a café, not a career fair!” But I can’t ignore it. So, I start typing this long response, and then—POOF! My coffee spills everywhere. I’m talking a full-on coffee tsunami. Now I’m mad. I mean, come on! I just wanted a peaceful moment. The barista comes over, and instead of helping, he just laughs. Thanks, man. Real supportive. I clean up my mess, and I’m like, “Okay, let’s get back to the students.” Next, I decide to take a walk. I head towards the Parco della Valle, which is super pretty. I’m trying to chill, but then I see this group of kids playing soccer. They’re yelling and running, and I’m like, “Man, I wish I had that energy.” But then, one of them kicks the ball, and it comes straight for me. I dodge it like a ninja. I’m not getting hit by a soccer ball today, thank you very much! I finally find a bench and sit down. I’m just people-watching, you know? And then I see this old lady walking her dog. The dog is tiny, like a fluffball on a leash. But the lady? She’s got this fierce look. I’m thinking, “That dog must be a secret agent or something.” Suddenly, I hear this loud noise. It’s a parade! In Induno-Olona! I had no idea! I jump up, and I’m like, “What’s happening?” Turns out, it’s some local festival. There are floats, music, and people dancing. I’m feeling the vibe, you know? I join in, and for a moment, I forget about my students and their dilemmas. But then, I see a kid crying because he lost his balloon. I’m like, “Oh no, not on my watch!” So, I run over, and I’m like, “Hey, buddy, let’s find that balloon!” We search everywhere, and finally, I spot it stuck in a tree. I’m like, “Hold my coffee!” I climb up a bit, and I’m reaching for it. I’m not exactly a tree climber, but for this kid? Totally worth it. I grab the balloon, and the kid’s face lights up. I’m feeling like a hero. But then, I lose my balance and almost fall. Classic me, right? I’m laughing, he’s laughing, and it’s just a good moment. After the parade, I’m exhausted. I head back to Via Roma, and I’m thinking about how crazy today was. I mean, from coffee spills to parades, it’s been a rollercoaster. I finally sit down at home, and I’m like, “What a wild ride.” Induno-Olona, you’ve got my heart racing. I can’t wait to tell my students about this day. Maybe it’ll inspire them. Or maybe they’ll just laugh at my misadventures. Either way, I’m ready for whatever tomorrow brings.
