Wow, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. I woke up in Iseo, and I thought, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I’m an office manager, right? So, I’m used to the usual grind. But today? Nah, it was like a rollercoaster. I stepped outta my apartment on Via Roma, and boom! The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I thought, “This is gonna be great.” But then, I hit the market on Piazza Garibaldi. I swear, it was packed! Like, where did all these people come from? I just wanted some fresh fruit, but nooo, I had to elbow my way through a sea of tourists. I mean, I love Iseo, but c’mon, give a girl some space! Finally snagged some peaches. They were juicy, tho. But then, I dropped one. Ugh! It splattered everywhere. I was like, “Great, now I’m a walking fruit salad.” The vendor just laughed. I wanted to throw a peach at him, but I didn’t. So, I rushed to the office on Via Cavour. Traffic was a nightmare. I swear, I saw a guy on a scooter almost take out a pigeon. Like, dude, chill! It’s not a race! I got to the office, and my phone was blowing up. Emails, calls, you name it. Then, my boss walks in. He’s all, “We need to talk about the budget.” I’m like, “Can’t we just pretend it’s fine?” But nooo, he wants to go over every single line. I was losing it. I mean, who cares about a few euros here and there? After that, I needed a break. So, I snuck out to the lakeside. Iseo’s lake is stunning, right? The water was sparkling, and I thought, “Okay, this is nice.” But then, I saw a couple taking selfies. Like, can you not? I just wanted some peace! I sat on a bench, trying to breathe. But then, a kid ran by, and his ice cream fell. He started crying, and I felt so bad. I mean, who doesn’t love ice cream? So, I bought him a new one. His face lit up, and I was like, “Okay, maybe today isn’t all bad.” But then, I got back to the office, and guess what? The printer jammed. Ugh! I spent 30 minutes trying to fix it. I was ready to throw it out the window. I mean, it’s 2023! How is this still a thing? Finally, the day ended. I walked home, and the sunset over the lake was breathtaking. I stopped at a little café on Via Mazzini. Got myself a gelato. Best decision ever. I sat there, watching the world go by. I thought about how crazy today was. I mean, I love Iseo, but some days, it just tests your patience, ya know? But hey, that’s life. Full of surprises, ups and downs. So, yeah, that was my day. Intense, emotional, and totally unexpected. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Iseo, you’re a wild ride!
