Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a bouncer in Legnaro ain’t for the faint-hearted. So, I roll into work at this club on Via Roma, right? It’s a chill spot, but tonight? Oh boy, it was like a circus on fire. First off, the weather was all over the place. One minute, it’s sunny, and the next, it’s pouring like the heavens opened up. I’m standin’ outside, lookin’ like a drowned rat, and people are still tryin’ to get in. Like, c’mon, it’s a monsoon out here! But nah, they’re all like, “Let me in, bro!” I’m like, “You sure you wanna swim in there?” Then, this dude shows up. I swear, he’s got more cologne on than a perfume factory. He’s strutting down Via Garibaldi like he owns the place. I’m just tryin’ to do my job, ya know? I’m like, “Hey man, chill with the scent, or I’m gonna need a lifeguard!” He laughs, but I’m serious. I can’t breathe! So, the night kicks off, and it’s packed. I mean, Legnaro’s small, but tonight? It’s like the whole town decided to party. I’m checkin IDs, and this one girl, bless her heart, tries to hand me a library card. A LIBRARY CARD! I’m like, “Sweetie, I need a real ID, not your overdue book pass.” She just giggles and runs off. Classic. Then, outta nowhere, this fight breaks out. Two guys, both from Via Cavour, start throwin’ punches like they’re in a boxing ring. I’m like, “Really? In my club?” I jump in, and it’s chaos. I’m pushin’ one dude back, and the other one’s tryin’ to swing at me. I’m dodgin’ like I’m in the Matrix. Finally, I get ‘em separated, and they’re both yellin’ at each other. I’m just standin’ there, thinkin’, “This is Legnaro, not Vegas, fellas!” After that, I need a breather. I step outside for a sec, and the air is fresh, ya know? I look down Via Roma, and it’s lit up like a Christmas tree. The lights, the vibe, it’s beautiful. Makes me forget the madness for a moment. But then, I hear this loud honking. Some guy in a tiny car is stuck in traffic, and he’s losing it. I can’t help but laugh. Like, dude, it’s Legnaro, not the Autobahn! Back inside, the music’s pumpin’, and I’m tryin’ to keep the peace. But then, this guy comes up to me, all serious. He’s like, “I lost my phone!” I’m thinkin’, “Bro, you’re in a club, not a lost and found.” But I help him look, and guess what? It’s in his back pocket. I’m like, “Dude, you’re lucky I’m not charging you for this service!” As the night goes on, I’m feelin’ a mix of emotions. Happy, angry, surprised. It’s a rollercoaster. I see friends laughin’, couples dancin’, and I’m just tryin’ to keep it all together. Then, this old lady walks by, and I swear she’s got more energy than half the crowd. She’s dancin’ like nobody’s watchin’. I’m like, “That’s the spirit, lady! Show ‘em how it’s done!” Finally, the night winds down. I’m exhausted, but it’s that good kind of tired. I step outside again, and the streets are quiet now. Legnaro’s peaceful, and I can hear the crickets chirpin’. I think about how crazy the night was, and I can’t help but smile. This little town, with its ups and downs, it’s home. So yeah, that was my day. Just another wild night in Legnaro. Can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
