Man, what a day! I swear, being an insurance agent in Lentate-sul-Seveso can be a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First off, I hit the road on Via Roma, and boom! Traffic jam. Like, seriously? It’s 8 AM! I’m stuck behind some dude who’s clearly never heard of a turn signal. I’m honking, yelling, you know, the usual. Finally, I make it to the office on Via Garibaldi, and I’m already late. Great start, right? I walk in, and my boss, Mr. Rossi, is on a rampage. He’s like, “Where have you been?” I’m like, “Dude, traffic!” But he’s not having it. He’s all about those numbers. I get it, but c’mon! I’m not a robot! So, I sit down, and my first client walks in. It’s this sweet old lady, Mrs. Bianchi. She’s got this adorable little dog named Pino. I’m thinking, “This’ll be easy.” But then she starts talking about her house insurance. And let me tell ya, her house is like a museum! She’s got porcelain dolls everywhere. I’m trying to focus, but Pino keeps barking at me. I’m like, “Chill, little dude!” Then, outta nowhere, she drops a bomb. “I need coverage for my collection of rare spoons.” I’m like, “Spoons? Really?” But hey, who am I to judge? So, I’m scribbling notes, trying to keep a straight face. After that, I head out for lunch. I’m craving a slice from Pizzeria Da Marco on Via Milano. Best pizza in town, no cap. I grab a slice, and it’s heavenly. But then, I see this guy on a bike, and he totally wipes out right in front of me. I’m like, “Dude, are you okay?” He’s fine, just a little embarrassed. But I can’t help but laugh. Back to the grind. I get a call from a client on Via Dante. He’s freaking out about a car accident. I’m like, “Breathe, man! We got this.” But he’s all over the place. I’m trying to calm him down, but he’s like, “My car! My baby!” I get it, but c’mon! It’s just a car! Then, I get a surprise visit from my buddy Luca. He’s in town for a bit, and he drags me out for a quick coffee at Caffè Centrale. We’re catching up, and I’m feeling good. But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my boss again. “Where are you?” Ugh! I’m like, “Dude, I’m on a break!” Finally, I head back to the office, and it’s chaos. Clients everywhere, phones ringing off the hook. I’m running around like a headless chicken. I swear, I need a clone. As the day winds down, I’m exhausted. But then, I get a call from a client on Via Verdi. She’s super happy about her claim. I’m like, “Yes! Finally, some good news!” We chat for a bit, and I can’t help but smile. By the time I leave the office, it’s dark. I’m walking down Via Roma again, and I can’t help but think about the day. It was a rollercoaster, for sure. But hey, that’s Lentate-sul-Seveso for ya! Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. I get home, plop on the couch, and think, “What a day.” I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well, maybe a day at the beach. But still, Lentate-sul-Seveso, you crazy little town, you’ve got my heart!
