Man, what a day! I woke up in Limbiate, and I swear, I thought it was just gonna be another boring Saturday. But nah, life had other plans. First off, I hit up Via Roma for some coffee. You know, the good stuff. I’m talking about that little café, Caffè del Centro. Best cappuccino in town, no cap! I’m sippin’ my drink, feeling all fancy, when suddenly, this pigeon decides to drop a bomb right on my shoulder. Like, really? I’m just tryna enjoy my morning! So, I’m walking down Via Garibaldi, trying to shake off the bird poop, when I bump into my buddy Marco. He’s all hyped about this new pizza place on Via Milano. I’m like, “Dude, I just had coffee!” But Marco’s relentless. “C’mon, it’s pizza! You can’t say no!” So, we head over. This place is packed! I mean, it’s like the whole city decided to show up. We finally get a table, and I order the Margherita. Classic, right? But then, the waiter brings out this weird-looking pizza with pineapple. I’m like, “What is this abomination?” Marco’s laughing, saying it’s a “Limbiate special.” I’m like, “Nah, bro, that’s a crime against pizza!” After that, we stroll down to Parco delle Groane. It’s a nice spot, you know? Trees everywhere, people jogging, kids playing. I’m feeling good, until I see this group of teenagers blasting music. Like, chill out, it’s a park, not a club! I’m all for having fun, but c’mon! Then, outta nowhere, it starts to rain. I mean, it’s like the sky just opened up. We’re sprinting for cover, laughing like idiots. I slip on the wet pavement of Via Cavour and almost faceplant. Marco’s dying of laughter. I’m like, “Dude, help me up!” Finally, we duck into this little shop on Via Manzoni. It’s a vintage store, and I’m browsing through old records. I find this gem from the ‘80s. I’m like, “This is gold!” But then, I realize I left my wallet at home. Ugh! So embarrassing! After that, we decide to hit up the local gelateria. I mean, who can resist gelato, right? I get stracciatella, and Marco goes for pistachio. We sit outside, enjoying our ice cream, when I spot this cute dog. I’m all “Aww, look at that pup!” But then, the owner yanks the leash, and the dog starts barking at me. I’m like, “Chill, buddy! I’m not a threat!” As the day winds down, we walk back through the streets of Limbiate. The sun’s setting, and everything looks magical. I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, angry, surprised—this day had it all. I get home, exhausted but smiling. I think about how crazy life can be. One minute you’re sipping coffee, and the next, you’re dodging pigeons and slipping on wet streets. But that’s Limbiate for ya. Always keeping me on my toes!
