Man, what a day! I woke up in Lucca, and I swear, I thought it was just gonna be another chill day. But nah, the universe had other plans. First off, I’m an animation artist, right? So I’m all about that creative vibe. But today? Pffft, it was like a rollercoaster on steroids. So, I’m strolling down Via Fillungo, the main street, and it’s packed. Like, seriously, who knew this place could get so crowded? I’m dodging tourists left and right, trying to get to my fave café, Caffè di Simo. I needed my caffeine fix, like, yesterday. But then, bam! I trip over some random cobblestone. Classic me. I’m like, “Really, Lucca? You wanna play dirty?” Finally, I get my coffee. It’s like liquid gold, man. I take a sip, and it’s heavenly. But then, I see this street performer on the corner of Piazza San Michele. He’s juggling fire, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! You’re gonna set the place ablaze!” But the crowd’s loving it. I’m just standing there, half impressed, half terrified. Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, and I swear he almost knocks my coffee outta my hand. I’m like, “Hey, watch it, mini tornado!” But he just giggles and keeps running. Kids, man. They’re wild. After that, I decide to check out the walls. Lucca’s walls are epic! You can walk or bike around them. So I’m walking, feeling all artsy, and I start thinking about my next animation project. But then, I see this couple having a picnic. They’re all lovey-dovey, and I’m like, “Ugh, get a room!” But then I remember my last date. Yeah, let’s not go there. Anyway, I keep walking, and I hit the Lucca Botanical Gardens. It’s so peaceful there. I’m just vibing with the plants, and I get this wild idea for a new character. A plant that talks back! I’m giggling to myself, and people are looking at me like I’m nuts. Whatever, right? But then, I get a text from my buddy. He’s like, “Yo, let’s hit up the Lucca Comics and Games festival later!” I’m like, “Heck yeah!” But then I remember I gotta finish my project first. Stress level: 100. So I rush back to my studio on Via San Paolino. I’m cranking out frames like a madman. But then, my computer crashes. Are you kidding me? I’m about to lose hours of work! I’m yelling at my screen like it’s a person. “Why, computer, why?!” Finally, I get it back up, and I’m sweating bullets. I finish just in time to meet my buddy. We head to the festival, and it’s insane! People everywhere, cosplays, art, and all that jazz. I’m in heaven. I see this amazing artist, and I’m like, “Dude, your work is fire!” But then, I spot this one guy dressed as a giant pizza. I can’t even. I’m laughing so hard, I almost spill my drink. Like, who thinks of that? I need that kind of creativity in my life. As the night goes on, I’m feeling all the feels. Happy, excited, a bit overwhelmed. Lucca’s got this magic, you know? The lights, the people, the art. It’s like a dream. But then, I get a bit too into it and lose track of time. I’m running back to my place, and I’m like, “C’mon legs, don’t fail me now!” I finally make it, and I crash on my bed. What a day, right? Lucca, you wild city. You’ve got my heart racing and my mind spinning. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
