Man, what a day! Seriously, I’m still reeling from it. So, I wake up in my little workshop on Via Roma, right? The sun’s shining, birds are chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be a good one.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. First off, I head to the market on Piazza Matteotti. I’m just tryna grab some wood for my violins, ya know? I’m all about that sweet, sweet spruce. But guess what? The guy I usually buy from? Gone. Poof! Like he just vanished into thin air. I’m standing there like an idiot, looking around. “Where’d you go, man?” I’m talking to myself now. Great start, right? So, I wander around, trying to find someone else. I hit up this little shop on Via Garibaldi. The owner, old dude, super grumpy. I ask him about wood, and he just glares at me. Like, dude, I’m not here to steal your secrets! I’m just a violin maker, not a wood thief! He finally points me to some stuff in the back. I’m like, “Thanks, I guess?” Then, I’m walking back, and I see this street performer on Via Mazzini. He’s playing the most beautiful tune on his violin. I’m like, “Man, I wish I could play like that.” But then I notice his strings are all frayed. I’m thinking, “Dude, get it together!” I mean, I’m all for artistic expression, but come on! Anyway, I finally get my wood and head back to the workshop. I’m pumped! I start carving, and it’s going great. I’m in the zone, you know? But then, BAM! My neighbor’s dog starts barking like a lunatic. I swear, it’s like he’s auditioning for a role in a horror movie. I’m trying to focus, but this dog is relentless. I’m about to lose it. “Shut up, Fido!” I yell. Yeah, that’ll help. After a while, I finally finish this gorgeous violin. I’m feeling like a rockstar. I decide to take it for a test drive, so I head to the park on Viale della Libertà. It’s a beautiful spot, trees everywhere, people chilling. I start playing, and it’s magical. I’m lost in the music, and then… a crowd gathers. I’m like, “Whoa, this is cool!” But then, outta nowhere, this kid runs up and knocks into me. My violin almost goes flying! I’m like, “Dude, watch it!” The kid just laughs and runs off. I’m standing there, heart racing, thinking, “Is this how it ends? My masterpiece destroyed by a kid?” I manage to keep it together, and I keep playing. The crowd’s loving it. I’m feeling like a million bucks. But then, I see a couple of tourists taking selfies. They’re totally ignoring me! I’m like, “Hello? I’m right here!” But whatever, I keep playing. Finally, I wrap up my little performance, and people clap. I’m on cloud nine! But then, I realize I left my tools back at the park. Ugh! I sprint back, and guess what? They’re gone. Just vanished. I’m like, “Seriously? Who steals a violin maker’s tools?” I’m fuming now. I head back home, defeated. But then, I see the sunset over the hills. It’s stunning. I stop for a sec, take a deep breath. “Okay, maybe today wasn’t a total bust,” I think. So, I get home, and I’m exhausted. I plop down on my couch, and I can’t help but laugh. What a rollercoaster! Mede, you crazy city! You’ve got me all twisted up. But hey, tomorrow’s a new day, right? Let’s see what you throw at me next!
