Man, what a day! Seriously, I can’t even. So, I woke up in Minervino-Murge, right? This little gem in Puglia, Italy. I mean, it’s cute and all, but today? Ugh. First off, I hit the streets of Via Roma. You know, the main drag. It’s like the heartbeat of the town. I’m strolling, coffee in hand, feeling all fancy. Then bam! A pigeon poops on my shoulder. Like, really? Thanks, bird. Just what I needed. So, I’m walking, trying to shake it off. I pass by the Chiesa Madre. It’s this beautiful church, all old and majestic. I’m thinking, “Wow, this place has seen some stuff.” But then I hear this loud shouting. Turns out, it’s some dude arguing with his girlfriend. Classic, right? I mean, who hasn’t had a public meltdown? I almost laughed, but then I felt bad. Next, I head to the market on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. It’s buzzing! Fresh veggies, local cheeses, and all that good stuff. I’m eyeing this huge wheel of pecorino. My mouth’s watering. But then, this old lady cuts in front of me. Like, excuse me? I’m about to say something, but she gives me this look. You know the one. The “I’ve been here longer than you’ve been alive” look. So, I back off. After that, I decide to grab a bite at this little trattoria on Via San Giovanni. The pasta? To die for! I mean, I could swim in that sauce. But then, the waiter spills wine all over my lap. Great. Just great. I’m sitting there, looking like a total mess. But hey, at least I got a free dessert out of it. Then, I thought I’d take a stroll up to the Castello Normanno. It’s this old castle, super cool. I’m climbing up the hill, and it’s a workout, man. I’m sweating like crazy. But the view? Wow. You can see the whole valley. I’m feeling all philosophical, like, “What’s life, man?” But then, I trip on a rock. Classic me. On my way down, I bump into this group of tourists. They’re lost, of course. I try to help, but my Italian is like, “Ciao, pizza, gelato.” Not super helpful. They look at me like I’m nuts. I mean, I’m just trying to be nice! Finally, I head back to my place, exhausted. I plop down on my couch, thinking about the day. It was wild. Ups and downs, like a rollercoaster. I love Minervino-Murge, but man, it keeps me on my toes. So, yeah. That was my day. Full of surprises, laughter, and a bit of chaos. Just another day in this quirky little town. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
