Man, what a day! Seriously, Monte-di-Procida, you’ve got me all kinds of twisted. Woke up this morning, sun shining like it was trying to show off. I’m like, “Cool, let’s do this!” Grabbed my coffee from that little bar on Via Roma. You know the one? The one with the best cornetti? Yeah, that place. So, I’m sippin’ my coffee, feeling all good, right? Then boom! My phone buzzes. Client wants a last-minute stream. Like, really? Can’t a guy enjoy his morning? But hey, money talks, right? So I’m off to set up. I head down to the waterfront. The view from Lungomare is insane! The sea, the boats, the whole vibe. But then, outta nowhere, this seagull swoops down and tries to steal my cornetto! I’m like, “Dude, back off!” I swear, these birds have no chill. Anyway, I finally get to my spot. It’s a cozy little place near Piazza della Repubblica. Set up my gear, and just as I’m about to go live, the power goes out! Like, c’mon! I’m standing there, looking like a total fool. I’m sweating bullets, thinking, “This is it. My career is over.” But then, the lights flicker back on. Thank you, sweet baby Jesus! I hit that live button, and boom! People are tuning in. I’m cracking jokes, showing off the beautiful views of Monte-di-Procida. The hills, the colorful houses, the vibe is just perfect. Then, outta nowhere, this old lady walks by. She’s got this huge basket of fresh tomatoes. I’m talking the juiciest, reddest tomatoes you’ve ever seen. I’m like, “Ma’am, can I buy some?” She just laughs and says, “Only if you share your stream!” I’m like, “Deal!” So, I bring her on camera, and the chat goes wild! People are loving it. They’re asking her about her secret sauce. She’s spilling the beans, and I’m just there, grinning like an idiot. It’s one of those moments, you know? But then, just when I think it can’t get better, a group of kids runs by, playing soccer. They kick the ball right into my setup! My camera almost goes down! I’m like, “Noooo!” But they’re laughing, and I can’t help but laugh too. Kids, man. They’re the best. After the stream, I’m feeling pumped. I stroll down Via Cavour, just soaking it all in. The shops, the people, the energy. I stop by that gelato place—Gelateria da Nino. You gotta try their pistachio. It’s life-changing! But then, I see this guy arguing with a vendor. Apparently, he didn’t get his change back. I’m thinking, “Dude, chill! It’s just a few euros!” But he’s all worked up. I mean, it’s Monte-di-Procida, not New York City! As the sun sets, the sky turns this crazy orange. I’m walking back, feeling grateful. This city, man, it’s got its quirks, but it’s home. I love the chaos, the beauty, the people. So yeah, Monte-di-Procida, you’ve got my heart. Even with the seagulls and the power outages. Can’t wait for tomorrow!
