Man, what a day! I’m tellin’ ya, being a glazier in Motta-Visconti can be a wild ride. So, I wake up, right? Sun’s shining, birds chirping, and I’m like, “Today’s gonna be chill.” Ha! Spoiler alert: it was NOT chill. First stop, Via Roma. I’m there, ready to install some fancy glass in this old villa. You know, the kind that makes you feel like you’re in a movie? But then, bam! The client’s like, “Oh, I changed my mind. I want it in blue.” Blue? Seriously? I’m a glazier, not a mood ring! I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you can’t just change it like that!” But whatever, I roll with it. So, I head over to the glass shop on Via Garibaldi. It’s a small place, but they got everything. I’m in there, and the guy behind the counter, Marco, is just yapping away. He’s like, “Did you hear about the new café on Via Cavour?” I’m like, “Dude, I’m here for glass, not gossip!” But then he mentions they have the best pastries. Ugh, now I’m hungry. After I grab the glass, I’m walking down Via Cavour, and I see this old lady struggling with her groceries. I’m like, “Hey, let me help ya!” She’s super grateful, and I’m feelin’ all warm and fuzzy inside. But then, she starts telling me her life story. I’m talkin’ 30 minutes of “back in my day” and “the war” and I’m just nodding, like, “Uh-huh, uh-huh.” I mean, I love a good story, but c’mon, I got glass to install! Finally, I get to the villa, and it’s a whole scene. The client’s there, pacing like a lion. I’m like, “Chill, man, I got this.” But then, I drop the glass. Yup, you heard me. It shatters everywhere. I’m standing there, heart racing, thinking, “This is it. I’m done.” But the client just bursts out laughing! I’m like, “Dude, this isn’t funny!” But he’s like, “It’s just glass, we can get more.” I’m thinkin’, “Wow, this guy’s got a good vibe.” So, I clean up the mess, and we start chatting. Turns out, he’s a painter. He invites me to his studio on Via Mazzini. I’m like, “Sure, why not?” I mean, I could use a break after that disaster. His studio is insane! Paintings everywhere, colors poppin’. I’m like a kid in a candy store. We end up talking about art, life, and all that jazz. I’m feelin’ inspired, ya know? But then, my phone buzzes. It’s my buddy, Luca. He’s like, “Where you at? We’re at the bar!” I’m like, “Dude, I’m in a painter’s paradise!” But I promise I’ll swing by. So, I head to the bar on Via Vittorio Emanuele. It’s packed! Everyone’s laughing, drinks flowing. I walk in, and they all cheer. I’m like, “What’s up, guys?” They’re like, “You survived the day!” I’m thinkin’, “Barely!” We’re all sharing stories, and I’m telling them about the glass disaster. They’re cracking up, and I’m just rollin’ with it. I mean, it’s Motta-Visconti, right? This place is full of surprises. As the night goes on, I’m feeling grateful. Sure, the day was a mess, but it was also kinda beautiful. I made a new friend, helped an old lady, and had a blast with my buddies. So, yeah, that was my day. Just another crazy, emotional, unexpected day in Motta-Visconti. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
