Man, what a day! Seriously, Offanengo is wild. I’m a stuntman, right? So, I’m used to crazy, but today? Pffft. Just wow. Started off chillin’ at the bar on Via Roma. Grabbed a quick espresso. You know, the good stuff. I’m sippin’ and thinkin’ about my next gig. Then, boom! My phone buzzes. It’s my buddy Marco. He’s like, “Dude, you gotta come to the piazza!” I’m like, “Why? What’s up?” He just says, “Trust me.” So, I’m outta there. I hit the streets, and man, Offanengo is buzzing. People everywhere. Kids runnin’ around, old folks chillin’ on benches. I love this place. But then I see it. A freakin’ parade! Like, outta nowhere. I’m talkin’ floats, music, the whole shebang. I’m thinkin’, “This is gonna be epic!” But then, I spot this dude. He’s tryin’ to climb one of the floats. I’m like, “Bro, what are you doin’?” He slips, and I swear, time slowed down. He’s flailing, arms everywhere. I’m about to jump in, but he lands on a pile of confetti. Thank God! Everyone’s laughin’, but I’m like, “Dude, you could’ve died!” So, I’m laughin’ too, but then I get a call. It’s my boss. He’s like, “We need you at the old factory on Via Garibaldi.” I’m like, “Now? I’m in the middle of a parade!” He’s not havin’ it. “Get here, or you’re fired.” Ugh, fine! I sprint through the crowd. People are givin’ me weird looks. I’m dodgin’ kids, old ladies, and a dog that looks like it’s on a mission. Finally, I make it to the factory. It’s this old, creepy place. You know, the kind of spot where horror movies are filmed. I’m thinkin’, “Great, just what I need.” Inside, it’s dark. I can barely see. My heart’s racin’. I hear a noise. I’m like, “What the heck?” Turns out, it’s just a rat. But still, I’m on edge. I’m supposed to do this stunt where I jump off a ledge into a pile of boxes. Easy, right? But the boxes? They look sketchy. I’m like, “Are these even safe?” I take a deep breath. I’m about to jump when I hear a loud crash. My heart drops. I look over, and it’s my buddy Marco again. He tripped over a cable. I can’t help but laugh. “Dude, you’re a mess!” He just shrugs. “At least I’m here, right?” Finally, I jump. It’s like flying. For a second, I feel free. Then, I land, and the boxes explode everywhere. I’m covered in dust and paper. I can’t see a thing. But the crew? They’re clapping. I’m like, “Yeah, I’m a pro!” But inside, I’m just relieved. After that, we head to a pizzeria on Via Mazzini. Best pizza ever! I’m chowing down, and Marco’s tellin’ me about his latest disaster. He tried to impress a girl by cooking. Burnt the whole place down. Classic Marco! We’re laughin’ so hard, I almost choke on my pizza. But then, I get a text. It’s from my mom. She’s like, “You okay? Heard about the factory.” I’m like, “Chill, Mom! I’m fine!” But it hits me. This job is dangerous. I mean, I love it, but it’s risky. I think about all the stunts I’ve done. The close calls. It’s a rush, but it’s also scary. As the sun sets over Offanengo, I’m sittin’ there, thinkin’ about life. This city, man, it’s got my heart. The streets, the people, the chaos. It’s all part of the ride. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So yeah, that was my day. Crazy, emotional, and full of surprises. Just another day in Offanengo, I guess!
